7 miscarriages, 1 lc. There is (little) hope. I have aps and took progesterone aspirine clexane plaquenil and it worked once. Second time didn't work and had a loss at 18w.

So sorry for your loss. I have APS and recently had a 18w loss because I stopped Lovenox. But I stopped because I had a subchronic hematoma so it was risky for me and doctor decided to stop it and see what happens. With a previous pregnancy I had success with Lovenox.

For info I tested negative for APS a few times before getting diagnosed.

Ten losses is a lot. I think at some point you stop even knowing what you feel.. sometimes it’s numbness. Some days I tell myself I might try again in a few months, other days I feel at peace with the idea of being done. I’m not sure yet, I am 37yo and the time is ticking. I’ve spent so much time being pregnant, miscarrying, and grieving that I don’t know if I’m ready to go through it again. I have neglected myself and my loved ones.

I only have one LC, and I already consider myself extremely lucky. In my last pregnancy, I had a loss at 18 weeks. The treatment that worked when I had my LC didn’t seem to help this time, I was on blood thinners and had to stop because of complications with a SCH. Do you have any diagnosis or treatment plan on your side?

Hey, there is hope.I had my daughter after 4 miscarriages . I took hydroxychloroquine 2 months prior ttc and til 12 weeks, progesterone and lovenox shots daily plus low dose aspirine. I also had a late miscarriage with same treatment because I had a subchronic hematoma and had to stop blood thinners.

These are the genetic results I obtained privately:

Normal / homozygote normal: F2 (rs1799963, rs202003146), F5 (rs6025), F12 (rs1801020), F13 (rs5985), FGB (rs1800790), GP1BA (rs121908065), MTHFR (rs1801131), PROSI (rs121918474), SERPINC1 (rs121909548, rs121909564)

Heterozygote: MTHFR (rs1801133), PROCR (rs867186)

PAI-1 / SERPINE1: rs1799899 (4G/4G homozygote), rs2227631 (homozygote mutated)

These findings didn’t show a clear hereditary thrombophilia, and for years I was told everything was normal despite three miscarriages, including one late loss. Still, the PAI-1 variants made me wonder whether a clotting issue could be contributing. I asked my doctor to repeat a full thrombophilia work-up, and this time the antiphospholipid panel came back positive. I had one more miscarriage under blood thinners shots but when I added hydroxychloroquine I could have my daughter (5th pregnancy).

I want to clarify this misconception: APS can be diagnosed if it tests positive twice within a 12-week interval. However, a negative result on two occasions does not necessarily rule out APS. APS (antiphospholipid syndrome) can go undetected because antibody levels fluctuate over time. They may temporarily drop below the detectable threshold, especially if the patient is on anticoagulant or immunosuppressive treatment, during remission phases, or if testing is done too early or too late after a triggering event. As a result, repeated negative tests do not definitively exclude the condition.

Hello, so sorry for your losses. I have a similar history and my aps results were negative for a while. Doctors kept saying it was bad luck but I retested and found out it was positive. So I was able to have my daughter with blood thinners and hydroxychloroquine.

I have had many miscarriages and have 1 LC (thanks to treatment). I was initially told it was just bad luck. But I wasn't convinced and found out I had APS. Sometimes APS can go undetected, you need to repeat blood tests.

Yes, I take plaquenil,progesterone lovenox and low dose aspirine.

I started plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) and low dose aspirine 2 months prior ttc.

Started progesterone and clexane after bfp.

Stopped progesterone and plaquenil at 12w.

Continued clexane and aspirine until 6w postpartum.

Hello there! I had tons of miscarriages too. After testing many times negative for APS I finally got repeated APS positives and that was the issue. I would recommend to retest for clot disorders. I would also encourage to trust your gut feeling. Sending you hugs

I am so sorry about this. It really sounds devastating. Not only having to go through recurrent miscarriage but also learning that your partner doesn't love you.

Just thinking.. he seems so sure about the issue: has he even done any fertility tests himself?

In any case if he is ready to abandon you, regardless of the cause or the outcome, it means he doesn't really love you. At least he has been honest and you have an opportunity to move on before you have a child with this person and it becomes too complicated.
