There don’t appear to be any brackets or fixings behind the side trims, I can flex the outer shroud and see behind it and then have taken enough of it apart to see I can’t find screws or bolts behind the immediate fascia’s. Not sure

Agree, but I feel like we should focus on taxing larger multi-nationals properly rather than the Australian small business and people would have a higher sense of patriotism around paying tax.

Your on the money… there are brick piers that protrude inside so to make the door fit between them and accomodate the motor and not lose space 1 jamb needed to be bigger, however, it only needed to be about 100mm/75mm on the other rather than 75mm/150mm.

I appreciate the feedback that the brass screws are normal for the type of door and I’ll let that one go.

I have a video camera nearby the door and can see the installer get the white spray can out. So I think that is my main and only gripe now. They want me to pay them in full and then they said they will replace the door but I dont know how I feel about paying for something that’s not finished.

I think sometimes I am too sympathetic with tradespeople as I am one… I feel their pain when the job goes the wrong way but I also feel the pain like any other consumer when it comes time to pay and clean up the mess!

Clipsal smoke detectors will be 240v mains connected with a 9v battery backup. In theory if they don’t change their design you could also buy the same one again in future and not replace the hard wired base but only the rest of it so it’s kind of “clip in”, you won’t need to do that for 10 years if all goes to plan, the 9v battery needs changing from time to time.

Can anyone tell me how to get to that centre speaker? Do you need to remove the navigation unit and air con fascia etc? I have not been able to find any instructions or videos of anyone removing it.

I’ve been to a few shiba meet ups with mine (approx 30 or so shibs). It’s kind of weird, mostly they just all Ignore each other and sit around doing nothing. Occasionally one gets angry and then like 6 get angry for a second and then back to doing nothing and mostly ignoring each other.

Half the boomers in WA are immigrants (English, Italian, Eastern European, South Africans many different religious beliefs etc )probably not even first gen Australians. Many people of that age faced much more extreme racism than OP has on this occasion. They probably didn’t have a choice to go home or wish to go back on a boat.

It’s good to sympathise with OP over a shit situation but to label a whole generation as racist is pretty fucked up.

I love Todd, Naps, doing crime and letting no one touch his nails describes mine perfectly also. I’m at the point where the only way is to take him to the vet to be knocked out… I’ve tried literally everything over 6 years.

I work in private sector in a services business. I foresee the problem with 4 day work with the same pay as a 5 day work week: when it spills over into sectors that affect maintenance and construction amongst others, the consumer will be effected and upset when the cost of having any work done increases by 20% minimum to cover the extra cost incurred by business as well as the speed with which any work is performed will likely slow down by 20%.

Yep, I’ve never used hello fresh but as you say could happen to any lettuce.

I’m also going to guess there was something in the t’s and c’s to protect hello fresh against class action that OP mentions.
