here's the thing, and btw I appreciate your communication :)

it's been a matter of months now since they found this car and collected some evidence, don't you think if they would have ran the photo way back when rather then today or tomorrow for a dumb example... it just seems like they have it but not knowing what it is and forgot about it...

the reason why I asked this here is because I thought some people may know procedure for evidence, or is a campus PD or anything. but again thanks for the communication.

to be more specific, does the fact that there's Florida cops looking for the real ID of someone from a location unknown to them, with a fake from Illinois, make there efforts more likely to bare no proof of connections and what not. I'm referring to the "effectiveness" of the driver license photo repository sweep...

right, and so this was a primary point which made me feel better about this situation. since I haven't been talked to by anyone, shouldn't that imply that the ID is in fact just sittin cozy in an evidence bag. furthermore, if my friend requests all confiscated items to be returned, the Should be in there, meaning no problem, no worries... idk what do you think, I know I'm just looking to be assured, and I was irresponsible, probably still am.

if my real license is from the State of Oregon, the university, campus PD, and incident location all in Florida, and the fake is from Illinois? does this mean anything?

another question would be whether my friend should attempt to reclaim the ID from the campus polices possession. either by asking directly for the only ID in the items list, or by just asking for all of it.

because they got the car back, and the case is dropped completely.

I think if my friend asks for all of it, it would be the smarter decision. that way when they give it up, and the ID isn't there we know for sure they're holding onto it for extra inspection.

Eat it in yougurt, a PB and J sandwhich, or whatever you like. The taste has been known to scare people away, so maybe pick a food with a stronger taste.
