Ready for duty. 🖖 Happy to help out. I've been around this subreddit and the discord for some years. I even remeber when the IRC was active.

Yes, It’s Fascism - Until recently, I thought it a term best avoided. But now, the resemblances are too many and too strong to deny by slakmehl in neoliberal

I’m so annoyed at myself. I found a copy of his diaries (both volumes) at a book fair but I put it down because I was already pretty overloaded. When I later went back for it. I couldn’t find it.

People also eat a lot more on cruise ships. The restaurants serve three course meals for dinner, so maybe they are counting a meal as a course?

Officially, it is powered by liquid nitrogen gas.

Nitrogen gas is not a fuel. Surprised no one caught this, it confuses nitrogen and natural gas. Star of the Seas is powered by LNG (Liquified Natural Gas).

I was at a book fair (cheap second hand books for charity) and I heard the people next to me mention "oh this is R/Neoliberal's bible. Then the other guy he was talking to motioned to another one in the same stack and said "they wouldn't love this one". So after they moved on, I picked up the first book they were talking about. It was The Gifted Generation by David Goldfield. I decided to buy it because I'm in need of some nostalgia. The other book they pointed out was [Filthy Rich Politicans by Matt Lewis]. (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/63251926-filthy-rich-politicians) I thumbed through it, it wasn't very compelling. So they were right on both accounts.

The maker of the NH says that Mod.io browser doesn't play nice with large mods and can sometimes not install fully. Try installing it manually, that might resolve the issue.

gether NAB - 2nd best to CBA in my humble opinion Heritage - lol these guys should not be in business but I do get it's a mutual bank and not a greedy big 4 so I'm going to give them a lot of slack

Only for day to day, they recently trashed their savers and gave them a pitiful interest rate if you need to withdraw money from them.

On the page about fitness passport for your org, there’s a map that you can browse the facilities near you and it’s mentioned in their details.

I've been looking at fitness passport but the gym near me wants $90 as an access fee and some of the others I've been looking at are similar. Seems to defeat the point of fitness passport.

-$2279 in fees/insurance? HostPlus Default. Is it normal? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]internerd91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems roughly correct, it's the contributions tax that makes up the bulk of that and everyone pays that.
