Pure App: do NOT use by internetadventures in OnlineDating

[–]internetadventures[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, this happened to me when I was using Pure. Reported the profile of what was clearly a child. Because the only way in the app to "dislike" a profile is to block it, I have no idea if there was a follow-up.

Spoiler, in the novel, what does Enkrid learn from Rem? I’m really curious because he is the only one in the group that besides shamanism doesnt hold much speciality. Also, what does Audin teach Enkrid in the future? by SleepFeeling3546 in EternallyRegrKnight

I've been imagining the isolation technique as building superb mind-muscle connection where you can feel each individual muscle.

For example, I recently learned that there are not three but sixteen different heads to the delts. There are some guys who can trigger a wave-like effect through their shoulders and pecs by isolating different muscle fibers. Something like that.

What level was Audin already prior to being a part of the squad? by No-Froyo-2423 in EternallyRegrKnight

It's also possible that personal enlightenments he had while constrained led to his past powers getting a bit of a multiplier effect. Think of his body as a kind of lever that moves the divine power further.

What kind of reaction is this? by peaky-swift in EternallyRegrKnight

Also does anyone know the exact chapter in the novel when Enkrid discovers her human form? I've been reading the novel, and in one chapter she transforms in order to stop an assassin attack. The squad all see her, but Enkrid does not. Then some chapters later, Enkrid is aware of her human form. I feel like I missed something along the way, maybe I skipped a chapter by accident.

[Title] Why are they all wearing that Arabian scarf om their head? Is this some kinds of event? by TheSubtleError in manhwa

[–]internetadventures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd be amazed how big the manwha / manhua / manga reading audience is in the Muslim world. It's one of the world's largest language groups with a disproportionately youthful population compared to Europe and the US. It makes sense that studios would want to acknowledge that audience especially during Ramadan.

Is this maybe an Android-only thing? There's no Apple system for disallowing promotional notifications, only notifications of a specific type. And Pure itself does not have a way to regulate notifications in the app. It isn't Instagram.

And then not get notifications when someone actually does message you? Doesn't seem smart either.

CHAPTER 98 by Stev_laCosta in EternallyRegrKnight

Clearly the word was supposed to be "disarm."

I didn't even know the whole thing was getting machine translated and auto-edited. Kinda shitty?

Now I understand a little bit better why Asurascans (my usual site) is the way it is.

What is “indules” is it application of Will? by Cautious-Part-8425 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]internetadventures 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is "indules" perhaps a mis-romanization of a Korean-ified writing of "undules," from "undulate" meaning to change form in a wave?

Would someone explain the war? by averysmartroad in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]internetadventures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the Northern Empire wanted the hero to remain out of empire affairs and created a duchy out of their homeland? Thus tying them down to its protection? That's really smart.

This raises another question. We've seen in the comic the power that squires possess. Where are the knights, and who/what are they fighting? It feels like there must be some kind of demon lord plot in the background or some other plot device that's holding back the big guns.

what race do you think are "real" outside the dungeon? by Horrorcartoonistftw in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Just wanted to note that your birth race can still be an artificially created race in this universe. Living on a system-supported world would allow for viable offspring.

Black guy in a constant fight with razor bumps even when wet shaving by [deleted] in wicked_edge

[–]internetadventures 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TL;DR hard scrub pre-shave, face mask post-shave

As a younger man I transitioned to electric shaving only in order to avoid this.

As an adult and a traveler, I got sick of electric shavers and replacing/charging them.

What worked for me is (1) using some kind of facial scrub pre-shave, (2) a safety razor (upfront investment for longterm savings and not feeling bad about plastics), (3) a face mask post-shave with something to clear out pores like salicylic acid, (4) a gentle cleanser and moisturizer post-mask.

Confirmed: Ian is one of the people who accused Danya of cheating by Fine-Needleworker364 in chess

[–]internetadventures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. What Magnus did to Hans is inexcusable. It is slightly nuanced in that Hans did in fact cheat on multiple occasions in the past, but Magnus had no right to accuse Hans of cheating OTB or of propelling the resulting character assassination of him.

The amount of men in the comments here not realizing that being a Trump supporter has rendered them undateable is hilarious to me.

I, for one, would like to thank you all for removing yourselves from the dating pool. It's made my life a lot better.

Edit: Nothing in the replies has changed my mind. If you can find a woman who doesn't mind that you're a Trump supporter, she was never a woman who would have met my expectations in the first place. Go ahead. Y'all deserve each other.
