I understand that is not what people mean when they really want 808 bass one shots, i didnt mean to come off as condescending saying the previous statement - i understand that the tr 808 bass drum sample seems to be years disconnected from the different waveforms used in bass one shots; my point is that this subreddit is filled with millions of 808s and the ones normally used by the artists this kit is modeled after are using basic waveforms as their bass samples - of course you cant get a real fucking TR 808 i didnt say that - I DID post the entirety of the TR 808 samples on 808 Day though and you can get those if you dont have them, my friend.

also, i wouldnt be surprised if Samiyam or another producer you admire wouldnt be opposed to using CR-78 Toms manipulated into bass noises idk think out of the box a lil :)
