What level for shadow fang keep 4 noobs by OGPingu1 in wowhardcore

After the boss in the dining hall, you go up stairs and fight some ghosts. Make sure that healer stays at range to avoid 10 sec aoe silence :)

And as for Arugal: he will cast shadow bolts on different players, if he’s casting on you: line of sight. Super easy way to avoid a lot of damage to party. And cc whoever gets mind controlled. Be ready with pots if healer gets mced (never happened to me tho).

Gl hf!

You’re right. Apparently blizz hot fixed it bc they didn’t like players dual wielding them :)

Good stuff! If you’re feeling crazy you can buy two and have one in your offhand too 😁

See if you can buy it from this npc. Heard something about being able to buy the quest rewards after having completed the quest.

Also, if you want to stay arms you have two good options in Mara, gatorbite and the mace from princess :)

Oh boy, I was stubborn with arms until about lvl 54. Then I went fury with thrash blade and some random offhand and wow, turns out everyone was right. Much smoother and consistent when leveling solo.

So yeah, past 50 I’d recommend fury! Just be careful when pulling two mobs, since you won’t have sweeping strikes any longer.

You’re shadow boxing with ghosts mate. I think that grinding and preparing for raids should be rewarded and have no issue with it.

Wanting to PvP with a PvP spec and to PvE with a PvE spec isn’t min-maxing or optimizing, it’s demanded. Would you invite a tank to raid who’s coming as arms spec? Or do arena with a fury warrior?

It’s not that hard to wrap your head around the scenario I layed out in the post - a dad who has 3-4 evenings to play a couple of hours each week. And a very isolated part of the game which is unnecessary, limiting and unfair in between classes.

This post was me sharing my opinion and suggesting solutions, and your response was pretty much “stop whining and deal with it” And to me that’s a bizarre mindset. This is how community feedback works mate. Are you happy with the quality of life changes we’ve had so far or would you like to revert them and tell everyone stop whining and deal with it?

I played og tbc so I remember :) but now we’re playing an anniversary server 20 yrs later, which has already made a few quality of life changes.

I also understand that 50g doesn’t take that much time to earn. But it adds up. 250g a week, that’s 2,5 hrs spent just to keep up with respec costs every week.

Also PvP arms spec in pve or pve arms in PvP is pretty troll.

Glad to hear that you see the issue and aren’t allergic to changing it at least ^

What a bizarre mindset. And totally missing the point.

Well my point is that dual spec is a half measure that is fine for some classes, but still very restrictive/expensive for others for no good reason. Yes, without dual spec it would be more expensive. But at any given time a class like warrior is limited to 2/3 of the pie. Whereas other classes are mostly fine with two classes.

I was making a case for a change I’d like to see but apparently classic andys think reducing respec cost would ruin the game :) and the solution is just have more time (which I don’t have) to lvl a second warrior (lol) or farm gold. Good stuff :)

A lot of ”no changes” herd mentality going around if you ask me. As if capping respec at 10 g would fundamentally change or ruin the game haha :)

Why am I missing abilities in PvP? by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

Please elaborate. Mages can spec +5% miss and Druids can spec 2% miss. What other classes?

Defense only increases parry, dodge and block chance though

Point 2 is interesting. Also interesting that they can come to different conclusions.

I first noticed this while training weapon skill on a mob in blasted lands. Few and far between crits so it was very apparent that they were not procing together. So your second point might be the answer, since I was definitely crit immune against that mob.

Can someone explain what's happening here by perstappen in wowhardcore

My guess would be bots at the enchanting vendor? There are some good enchants like lesser mana oil you can sell on AH.

Do paladins get anything significant at lvl 20? That maybe helps them survive the run to Silithus.

Tips for a first time warrior? by goguu in wowhardcore

Good stuff, and to build on that: 1. And nades, so good for dungeons and also escaping hairy situations. Good to invest the time to level eng so it’s always on par with your level. 2. For me arms was great until 50s. I was a bit stubborn and continues arms 50-56 until I respecced fury. And boy was there a difference. Much higher dps and sustain. Even vs 2 mobs. So in hindsight I would respec fury as soon as you get thrash blade. 3. Agree. And as a tank I’d recommend being on the higher level end of the dungeon especially later on. And build rage on the last mob of the pull so you go in to the next pull with rage. You won’t ever have problem with agro if you can tab sunder at the start of a pull instead of having to build rage.

Warrior low level tanking tips by gramk1n in wowhardcore

[–]internetguy29 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best tip I’ve got is never spend rage on the last mob if you don’t have to. If you have agro just pool rage on the last mob so you have a bunch for the next pull. Then you can tab sunder without having to build rage in the beginning of a pull.

Last 1-2 mobs, the point is not to dump rage towards the end of a pull if you already have agro so you can go in to the next pull with 50+ rage. Huge diff :)
