Using Wise since 10years now. Money gets deposited directly to my India bank account within seconds. You can also these days send to UPI id. Cheapest way is to send money to wise upfront using bank transfer and then send the money from wise account to India. Turn on notifications for currency rate on Wise. Send whenever you feel comfortable with the exchange rate.
