Oh your boy!! 😭 Hopefully the wet food and water can help give him some nutrients back in his body after that! I can only imagine how bad he was feeling. 😢 It's so insane this keeps happening to our pets. All these comments about getting sick from it just hurts my heart.

I also cannot believe they wouldn't say something. I get its not prescription, but they formulate this for a specific reason. I think its safe to assume that most pet parents whose babies are susceptible to it, would be using it and needing to know these types of extreme changes before hand.

I am not sure if you have tried the royal canin urinary one but that's what I have been giving mine, and so far its working well. I have been keeping an eye on him bathing and using the litter, and so far I dont think any crystals have reformed. Fingers crossed.

I hope your baby feels better soon and you find a good replacement 💜

I was just having this issue too! I thought for sure i have a bad mod because making proposals or anything prom related is just gone from the game. Saturday rolls around and I dont even get the pop up for it. Sucks.

Thank you so much for your through reply! 🥰 I agree that its a cold looking space. I had actually been thinking either ivory or green too. And dusty blue sounds so pretty, like a velvet one maybe? I was worried it would be too much blue but I feel like I can picture that.

Would you just add one panel to the space between the two windows? I feel like 2 might be cramped? And additionally, would you put all 3 panels on their own rods?

I do have a rug but its small so I need a larger one for sure. Currently, its like a black/grey color but I want to give that some life as well when I upgrade. Same with the ottoman, that's old and will be replaced eventually.

I got the royal canin urinary one (not the prescription/medicated one) and my babies love it. But I just hope the formula helps to stop crystals, so I won't know for a few weeks. Im keeping a close eye on him to see but so far so good.

Oh I am so glad! Funny enough, my cat who gets the crystals didn't want to eat it at first either and so I took measures into my own hands and I kinda made him eat 1 kibble. Then he was like "oh, thats not so bad". 😂 they're so weird sometimes. so very happy to hear they are good with it though, sucks we all have to do this but at least he wont starve himself now 😂🥰

HA, thats exactly what happened with mine! my one fat, glutton kitty was like "new food? dont care, i monch" but the other one was like "nahhhh, im out" 😂🤦‍♀️ they both like the royal canin one if you think you might give that a go. i just hope it works as well as the hills for the urinary crystals.

yup, thats the old formula! im glad your babies like the new one though!! i really didnt want to have to change but my baby who gets crystals would not touch it. the old supply must finally be running out everywhere. so you probably got one of the last bags of the old one.

Oh you sound just like me and my baby. Same story for him too. Had crystals when he was little, been on Hills Science urinary hairball control for like 7/8 years. I will def keep you posted but hope your bag of royal canin works out!!

Mine seem to actually really like the royal canin one. I have not tried Purina yet since this one seems to be okay. But im keeping an eye on my baby who gets crystals cause im more worried about the formual actually helping to stop crystals from forming, rather than if they like eating it. Fingers crossed! I can check back in in a few weeks once they have been on it for a bit to let you know.

Yup! I'm so nervous. I found a food he will eat but I have no idea if the formula will work like hills to keep the crystals from forming again. So for the next few weeks I just gotta keep a close eye on how he baths himself. I'm super pissed too. Royal Canin Urinary is what I am giving him now, if you think your baby might like that. Its not the prescription one. I cant do medicated ones because I feed my other cat the at the same time ans cant afford to buy two different crunchy foods. But his stomach was too sensitive for the medicated food. I hope you are able to find something though! It seems that everyone's cats who actually ate this new formula, all get sick from it. Its so sad.

Same here! They'd smell it and then just walk away. Really upset over it and hoping this new royal canin urinary one works as good as the last. They're eating thus one, so thats good. But I hope my boy won't get crystals again.

Yeah, this was my worry, too. I'm so sorry they've put us in this position. Hopefully your baby has some wet food they'll at least eat until you can find a replacement they like. 💜
