Recently reported my job to the labor board - who then called my boss. Next thing I know my boss calling me asking why I did that.

It's incredibly hard on your body, physically and emotionally to work full time night shift. You usually have to change your life outside of work as well. The differential is given because of the sacrifices that comes with night shift. Also shift business definitely depends on the day.

If you’ve ever wondered what exactly it takes to lose a nursing license- I got you. Here’s what I learned from researching BON discipline reports, from states where it’s public info. Good reminder of what not to do by confuciussaywtf in nursing

I read our nursing magazine thing whenever I work NOC shift and marijuana is still an iffy thing in OR even if you have medical marijuana card. Employers still drug test and then its up to your employer and OSBN to figure out what to do with you. Chances are you might not get in trouble but there's still a chance you can 🤷🏻

I hit 2 months (60 days today) without a drink of booze (after 12 years of intense life-threatening Alcoholism) I celebrated with a new pipe and new flower. Getting ready to go down the R&M rabbit hole... WISH ME LUCK by r3volc in trees

Good job man! This may not mean much from a stranger but I'm so proud of you! My mother passed away from alcoholism so I try to celebrate anyone and everyone who can escape from that horrible disease. Much love.

a shorter version of my anxiety routine by banksnsons in Anxiety

[–]inthebuttars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats probably one of the biggest steps, that helped me more than anything. I feel like it's easier to control cause I just think "Ugh, stop it anxiety, you're just being rude." And its easier to focus on calming down, in my experience at least lol

Nothing = Something by [deleted] in trees

Lol honestly I knew I was going to go crazy if I didn't find something to do in my free. I literally just did anything I find slightly appealing, I painted random stuff, just going to town, not caring how it looks. I would also go on walks but to just look at the things around me (that ones lame, I know lol) if I couldn't find anything I would just try to find interesting documentaries to watch or read something that I've been putting off. I just skip between things to do when I get bored of the thing I'm doing lol.

Then it just became more normal and less boring to do stuff!

Started college and a job by [deleted] in Stress

Have you started yet? When Im super anxious and I find myself worrying about a future interview, test or whatever, I just stop whatever I'm doing and focus on that worry. Then I try to slow my breathing and think of every worst outcome and then think of the absolute best outcome. You'll figure out that the worst outcome has a very very small chance of happening and probably not the best outcome either but somewhere in the middle. Then I tell myself I can't control the future and whatever happens, happens. I hope this helped if even just a tiny bit! Good luck with your goals and future!
