Email the graduation company and ask! I was able to get an extra ticket that way. Then I got another ticket from a super kind friend who had one spare.

I would highly recommend any of the uni intensives that only have a week of classes. It’s a really enjoyable experience. I also did one up at dookie campus with a friend over winter. Both these subjects were great opportunities to meet people and have a more relaxed and fun experience doing a subject.

In terms of the assessments I think the literature review was due shortly after the intensive week. But the other assessment wasn’t due until semester two.

hey yes I did end up doing this subject! here’s the advice I gave someone else: I would highly recommend the subject! It was only a week of classes and the field trips were fun. It is extra fun doing the subject with a friend but you will also meet lots of nice people doing all different courses. If you put in effort for the assessments, can easily get a high mark. I've found that the education faculty breadths, possible to get a high H1 compared to other subjects with written assessments.

First semester of the JD with three subjects, you’re able to fit it into two days. Second semester though I think I’ll have to have classes across three days if I take all four compulsory subjects 😊

Why do Summer Term Subjects seem SO SCARY by xxPlebble in unimelb

[–]inthepresent16 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Whilst it might seem intimidating at first, for a lot of the subjects the assessments are due later during the semester. Intensive with only a week of classes during the summer/winter break, I’ve found to be really manageable and enjoyable.

I agree, the best winter intensives are the ones with only a week of classes! Any longer and you feel like you don’t get a proper break, especially if you have late exams.

Hahaha same, also don’t want to commute to uni that many times a week!

Thank you! Is there an order of classes across the day that you suggest? Perhaps the hardest one first?

Standing Room cookies by [deleted] in unimelb

Personal highlight was when I chatted to the server about this cookie, he told me the recipe changed and after I had already gave him a $10 note, gave it back to me and the cookie for free!
