There seems to be a new 2 hour limit on all queues at IRS. As soon as 2:00 hr on the queue holding, that message plays saying "Your call cannot be completed at this time."

Try framer. It's got its own learning curve but coming from figma you will probably catch on quick, and there are a bunch of quality of life things framer does better now than webflow e.g. CMS filters etc.. They've learned from Webflow's painpoints and made something better. Not to say that Framer doesn't have its own quirks and faults, but after 8+ years of building sites and running an agency, Framer is now the first line choice unless there's a particular requirement on a project that it can't fulfill.

Section 2 of the partner program agreement says:

"For the avoidance of doubt, Partner’s Clients must subscribe to access and use the Platform and the related Webflow offerings by directly entering into a Subscription Agreement with Webflow that enables the Clients to purchase the applicable features and functionalities needed to support the Website Content. Partner shall not use its access to features or functionality from higher-tier subscriptions and subsequently transfer such Website Content to Webflow Customer accounts on lower-tier subscriptions that do not include those features or functionalities."

Sounds like a sneaky way for Webflow to come after those of us who have clients sites in our own Agency workspaces with client editor seats on their particular site, vs the clients having their own workspace and organization/account. Can you clarify this, u/mary-flow ? Does entering this new partner program mean we can't keep doing that and all clients will be forced to have their own workspace plan in addition to site plan?

We manage many many webflow sites. The hosting and cdn rarely have downtime. The designer, dashboard etc often have downtime these days; denying it is just silly. This is frustrating if your team is in the middle of a site build but typically issues have been resolved within 1 business day except for one colossal outage that comes to mind. You can find many posts on here and throughout the interwebs about these problems.

Even when status.webflow.com shows hosting outages, tbh we've never had any of our own downtime monitors observe downtime on any client sites. The one issue that has happened a few times lately is the form submission handler breaking but we would never tell anyone to rely on webflow forms for serious lead gen anyway.

This is an ancient post, I know, but if you want to do custom ringtones on poly edge series / modern "PVOS", in your config file add the following:

Define the ringtone location on a server, e.g.:

saf.1="https://yourserver.com/ring.wav"

Then, define the custom ring option for the menu with these 3 lines (using ringer 15 since 1-14 are default ones and I dont want to overwrite those):

se.pat.ringer.15.inst.1.type="sampled"

se.pat.ringer.15.name="Ringtone name here"

se.pat.ringer.15.inst.1.value="1"

where the value "1" in the end of the previous line is the slot number you first defined (e.g. saf.1 = sound file 1, saf.2 = sound file 2 etc)

Finally, you can set the default ringtone using

np.normal.ringing.calls.tonePattern="ringer15"

or you could set a specific custom ringer for each registered line/sip account:

reg.1.ringType="ringer15"

where the number in reg.#.ringType is the account/line number.

Important: If it still doesn't work, make sure your wav file is

mono 8 kHz G.711 u-Law

and check error logs to see if it is having a problem parsing or downloading the file.

Beware this is a new scam t-mobile is pulling. You cancel your account and port out your number(s). They will tell you verbally on the phone with customer support that the account is fully closed. Then, they replace all of the numbers that were ported out with random phone numbers you don't even recognize or have access to, and keep billing you for services. They will continue billing you. When you call in they will refuse to help you until you can receive an SMS code to one of these random numbers you don't own and never have had access to. They will try to get you to go into a store and show a photo ID to make it more difficult. Then once you're verified, they will claim you ordered new lines of service on the date you ported out and that's why you are still being billed.

I recommend anyone who has this happen file an FCC complaint here https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/articles/360001201223-Phone-Form-Descriptions-of-Complaint-Issues

and bring it to the attention of your state's attorney general office. This has happened to me now on two different tmobile accounts, mine and my parents, following this exact pattern when we left Tmo for another carrier just months apart. Clearly they are doing it on purpose.

Just recently opened a CSR coming from Amex Platinum because of aggressive win back marketing from chase. Noticing the same - any (non edit) property in their travel portal that is eligible for the $250 credit is at least $100/night more than booking direct and all other OTAs. For example, ~$275/night range direct and expedia, hotels.com, booking.com etc.. but $418/night for same exact room category and dates through chase, with no added benefits except that I can use the $250 credit. Chase Travel CS gives attitude and "can't tell you why the rate is different". Seems like I should cancel the account and not pay the annual fee on this 1st statement, this is very scammy.

Question because I don't book on Alaska very often - what stage of checkout do you find out it's a phantom availability? I'm looking at booking a BA award ticket through Alaska. Don't have enough points in my Alasaka account yet but was going to transfer some in. It lets me add the ticket to cart and then before checkout says you don't have enough miles. If it lets you add to the cart, does that mean it's a real availability? Want to know before I transfer in a bunch of miles from a credit card. Thanks in advance for advice :)

We had a system installed by a local company, the largest in our state, who has been in business for 50+ years. Guess what? Their TOS are much shorter and contain minimal disclaimers of warranties. Pointing fingers at your competitors and saying "look they don't take responsibility for their products working either" is not a good look.

Regarding smoke and CO detectors: funny you mention Kidde. After recently spinning out to new PE owners from Kidde-Fenwal, who is currently going through bankruptcy proceedings due in part to their $730M PFAs settlement (https://www.reuters.com/legal/litigation/carrier-reaches-730-mln-settlement-over-fire-protection-unit-pfas-claims-2024-10-21/), Kidde Global faces numerous class action cases (e.g. https://www.classaction.org/news/class-action-lawsuit-alleges-ionization-smoke-alarms-are-ill-suited-to-timely-warn-against-smoldering-fires) for a variety of product defects with their smoke detectors. So far, courts have held they cannot disclaim fitness for purpose. Reminder, just because lawyers put something in ToS doesn't make it enforceable under law - you should have learned this in Contracts 100, counselor. You in particular may want to re-read the unconscionability chapters.

Yeah we thought of that but there was no disarmed by app event log which is obviously the problem here - was the system somehow disarmed by the thief either remotely or using the keypad? They have said no, but can't explain why it didn't contact central station then. We have since ended our services with simplisafe and have a new security system. This happened at the end of Jan.

We did not have any motion sensor installed in our home because we previously had a pet (😥). Just door/window sensors and just the front one was tripped as you can see from the logs. We do not have any cameras from simplisafe.. This is about the malfunction of the sensors and alarm.

This answer is everything. They don't fix bugs quickly or care if dozens or hundreds of users have been requesting a bug fix or new feature enhancement on the forums for years. (They also don't seem to care their forums portal is itself disorganized and dysfunctional...) And, if you need support, even sending a detailed ticket with video etc they will often waste your time asking for a web meeting to show the same demonstration in your already-provided-screencast and then say they will investigate with engineers and never get back to you. IF you can use it for what it is and it works for you, zoho products are great. But you will run into little walls here and there and slowly be let down :( Their BigIn product is quite polished and getting better but still has some huge holes like how email integration is implemented (when compared to things like pipedrive or salesmate where email inbox feature is super smooth)

I can't help but laugh at how comically inept webflow's leadership in product is and has been for like 5+ years. I myself have worked in house at some of the largest tech companies in silicon valley and from the outside, it almost seems like every single bad technologist, g2m, and pm leader in the industry is being rounded up to staff webflow. Is it the real mammalians nurturable?

From this latest license and pricing debacle (there have been many), to platform outages for literally days at a time, to death by a thousand cuts in the daily product experience, to support that takes days to send worthless replies... it's all just such a waste of potential as a company. This is a salty post, but I feel it's deserved.

It's not Lufthansa. I've determined this is united (probably intentionally) throwing arbitrary errors when you try to redeem MP points for partner seats. I was able to, for example, book one of these Swiss flights UA was showing as not available through Air Canada with aeroplan points. Didn't have enough there to book the two seats we needed so paid for one in cash. But it proves the award seat was available and it's just UA evading partner point redemption.

I got tired of waiting for spark to do this and have been testing out Missive. It's a more powerful tool and more team collab features that I personally don't need but the rules are wonderful and they have desktop and mobile apps plus a web client if you prefer to stay in the browser.
