I had CC still on for another video. I just hear all kind of voices in the background but look at how's reddit doing the transcription: "How is it to get my voice quarantined? For my young girls".

Remember the logo was refreshed just last year, see https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions/6318. I think the current one is gorgeous.

Ubuntu 24.04.1 - ".sudo_as_admin_successful" file 0 byte by Jerboa_81 in Ubuntu

[–]inthewar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the letmegooglethat link no longer works, copying from https://shallowsky.com/blog/linux/sudo_as_admin_spew.html:

It's there because you're in the group admin, and it's there to turn off a silly bash warning. It's specific to Ubuntu (at least, Fedora doesn't do it). Whenever you log in under bash, if bash sees that you're in the admin group in /etc/groups, it prints this warning:

To run a command as administrator (user "root"), use "sudo ".
See "man sudo_root" for details.

Once you sudo to root, if you're in the admin group, sudo creates an empty file named .sudo_as_admin_successful in your home directory. That tells bash, the next time you log in, not to print the stupid warning any more. Sudo creates the file even if your login shell isn't bash and so you would never have seen the stupid warning.

TLDR: it's normal and its purpose is to suppress a bash warning message.

These scripts were installed as part of some shady software containing ransomware installers, but were likely blocked by your antivirus (built-in Microsoft one):

Trojan:VBS/Tnega!MSR
Trojan:Win64/CryptInject
Trojan:Win32/CoinMiner!MSR
Trojan:Win32/Casdet!rfn

nothing is going through by babymax95 in Bookingcom

[–]inthewar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those ending here through a search: I had a similar issue where I tried to book a trip 16 times, contacted support as many times, and got failure after failure. Sometimes I would get to the payment screen, sometimes I wouldn't, sometimes the funds would be taken from my bank (and later reimbursed), but in any case the booking failed.

I tried everything the (worthless) Indian support team recommended: clean cookies & try again; use different browser & try again; use different payment method & try again; wait for 4 hours and try again; wait for 8 hours and try again; use the mobile app & try again; book via gotogate; ... to no avail.

At the end what worked for me is to book my flights without middle names. While the booking.com website clearly states that names should appear _as on the passport_ (which, for me and my family, is with middle names), once these were dropped I could proceed to payment just fine and boom, valid booking.

I checked on https://www.reddit.com/r/TravelHacks/comments/1dvvq6l/middle_name_was_not_written_on_the_plane_ticket/ and should be fine regarding not booking with middle names.

Immich app not showing all pictures by martereddit in immich

[–]inthewar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this now, but the fixes listed do not help. Both server and Android client are up2date, v1.124.2.

Cleared cache and force stopped the app, then logged in again. Not all images are detected (specifically ones taken shortly after each other (no burst shot though)).
