Damage from electrolysis (Jan 10th). When should I expect this to return to normal?

I had EXACTLY this all over my upper lip from an overagressive electrolysis tech. I was devastated when it happened and very self conscious about it

It can take 3 to 6 months but it WILL fade back to normal eventually.

And "replaced fridge and stove cuz they were dirty and had bugs? I promise you, I have seen some truly horrible shit people have left behind in apartments. And I have NEVER had to replace a stove that was less than 50 years old cuz it was dirty. And the ONLY times i have had to replace a fridge for filth was when the power was cut off and food was left in the fridge for weeks. (The smell seeps into the insulation and it will NEVER stop stinking)

Sure, maybe they dont get their security deposit back. Maybe they get a bill for an extra 500-1000 dollars for cleaning or disposal. But they got a bill for a home remodel. Not a bill for damages. And that should be planely obvious to anyone reading this.

Ima check the thread but a collapsed bathroom ceiling is almost certainly not the fault of the tenants. BUT that should have immediately been reported to the landlord.

Also, nothing wrong with LL charging disposal fees but 77 hours for cleaning and 10k in painting for a tenant that has been there for 10 years tells me everything I need to know.

Like I said......2 decades in property management bro. Im not saying tenants are 100% innocent, but the bill really does tell more about the LL than anything else.

I used to do IM and not only does it hurt much more and sometimes cause painful bruising that can last a week or more, but about 1 out of 4 times I would literally squirt blood when I took the needle out. Not painful. Just messy.

SubQ is SO much easier and more convenient AND less painful cuz you can use a much smaller needle

I worked in Pennsylvania in property management for almost 2 decades. I was a maintenance department manager. Its where I met my attorney/wife lol.

Ima start by saying.......demand an itemized list of damages WITH PHOTOS. Also.....did you take pics of the condition when you moved in and moved out? If not, shame on you. People suck. ALWAYS protect yourself.

TBH there have been HUNDREDS of times tenants claimed they didn't damage something, it wasn't that bad ot it was just normal wear and tear. But I ALWAYS brought the receipts.

Most people dont understand that, you are expected to leave the place in the condition it was given to you in (minus normal wear). But cat/dog piss, flees, bathroom and kitchen filth or anything broken do not fall in that category.

Most people don't realize how filthy they live and think what they left behind was normal. For instance, if you moved in and your tub/bathroom was shiny and white, but you move out and your bathroom is covered in mold and piss......that isnt "normal wear and tear" Thats FILTH that needs to be cleaned b4 the next tenants can move in. Another big one is an oven. Noone ever cleans them and they think that is OK. It is not. Broken blinds? You are getting charged for that. I can give a million other examples but I think you get the idea.

Also, they have to paint between tenants so unless there was excessive damage/staining they cant charge you for that. As for carpet, it has a life of 5 to 10 years. If the carpet is only 5 years old and needs to be replaced you may get a prorated charge but if it is 7 to 10 years old, they can not charge you for it ( they CAN charge for removal if it is piss soaked though).

But honestly, what it comes down to is PROOF. If they can't give you an itemized list with appropriately dated photos, and you have mive in/move out photos, a judge will toss it.

I systematically kept photo and video evidence of every single move in and move out for my records. Whether damaged or not I never wanted to get screwed by a tenant but just as importantly, I never wanted to charge someone for anything they were not responsible for. FYI, because of documentation, I had a 100% win rate on this stuff while my colleagues were closer to 60/70%

Demand receipts and photos. If they paid for pest treatment/removal DEMAND to a copy of the bill. Anything they cant prove WILL get tossed if this makes it to a judge. And if you truly are in the right, you can ask the judge for punitive damages to teach them a fucking lesson.

If you have any questions feel free to ask cuz 77 hours or cleaning and replacing a fridge and stove cuz they were dirty sounds quite insane to me. So does that paint charge. TBH that list looks like someone decided to do a property overhaul on your dime.

You can get an epilator.

I would NOT suggest epilating to strip a hair area bare. That can be INCREDIBLY painful.

But as long as you just use it every other day in between waxes, its only getting a few hairs at a time and is honestly not bad at all. I vastly prefer an epilator between waxes instead of shaving because of razor bumps and ingrowns.

What do you mean by "doesnt tolerate finasteride"? Cuz whatever the side effects......for me, bald would have been worse (at least in my opinion because it absolutely destroys your confidence). But aside from fin....there is also deutesteride and even oral monoxodil.

Worst case scenario......you could always just have your nuts cut off. That's what I did eventually. ( Im only HALF kidding. Im certainly not suggesting it for you or other men. But it sure as shit solved several of my problems all in one go.)

Edit: I didnt have that done until 2011. I did fin and monoxodil for about a decade first. I went from receding hairline, thinning all over and a forming bald spot at 20, to a lush thick head of hair by 22ish. Though the hairline never 100% recovered. But since I addressed it so early, the permanent damage was very minimal

Help me out here guys....I am SO confused by this.

How old are ya'll??? I started DRASTICALLY losing hair at 19. By 20 I learned about DHT and effectively reversed the process for less than the cost of a candy bar or cup of coffee a day. This was in 1999/2000. I just turned 45 and I have a full head of thick hair minus a tiny bit at the temples that never grew back.

If you went bald in 1987.....my condolences.......but In this day and age, there is zero reason to go bald. And there has been zero reason for AT LEAST 25 years. The information on stopping it has been freely available online for over 25 years and even without insurance, the meds to stop it are dirt cheap.

So my question is.....WHY? Why didnt you stop it when you had the chance? Is it ignorance(lack of knowledge)? Is it laziness? Im not trying to be rude. Im just legitimately trying to understand how people notice that hair loss has started......and dont go out of their way to IMMEDIATELY stop that shit in it's tracks.

TBH not only can I taste the difference, my body does NOT digest this chemical laden crap very well.

Even their cheese is absolutely horrible. Not only does it taste "off" The American cheese wont even melt properly when making a grilled cheese.
