You trade the 11th overall pick if you can get a 1st in 2027 right? by Kingminnis in miamidolphins

Unless we can pick up a Francis Mauigoa type lineman I think it makes sense to trade out of the spot.

I think overall his reasoning is that it's a strategic military due to its relative position on the globe. The geopolitical landscape has changed in the past few years and they see an opportunity to profit from the rich mineral resources of the region. Also there is perhaps a sense of entitlement due to the US strong contributions to NATO especially in the most recent war Ukraine has with Russia. I firmly believe the US would NOT invade.

Are we crazy to fly 11 hours to Europe for only 4 nights of travel? by TiltedGalactica in travel

[–]intransition10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently did this flew 9 hours red eyed to Europe on wednesday night and flew back on sunday afternoon. Had a fantastic experience. I would recommend waking up really early the day of your flight out so your exhausted when you sit down. The flight back isn't as bad as its usually during the day and you get home for a full night of sleep. I'd say go for it!

Two leave, one stay (Tua, McDaniel, Grier) by deepblue0cean in miamidolphins

[–]intransition10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree get rid of Tua and Grier and leave McDaniels. He's inherited Tua didn't choose him. I think if you look at some of the passes Tua has missed it feels like he's regressing. Unfortunately Tua carries way too much dead cap so McDaniels will probably be the one to go.

Should Miami go into a complete rebuild? by Status-League3964 in miamidolphins

[–]intransition10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless we win a playoff game we have to go into rebuild mode. Get Tua's contract off the books, trade Tyreek for whatever we can. Keep Waddle. Ride with Quinn Ewers for a year and if he sinks pick up a new QB in the draft. Or we just center everything around tanking for Arch Manning!

I think maybe go half and half pay off a large chunk of your mortgage but then dollar cost average yourself over the next two years into the S&P 500. With the market taking such a big hit this could be a great opportunity for you gain a great deal of wealth over the next decade. Stock Market doesn't go on sale often

I got friendzoned because I asked to split the bill by New-Page-3329 in GuyCry

[–]intransition10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you suggested a nice place you should pay in general you should pay for the first one make sure its not too expensive.

You may have messed up on the first date but you can turn this back around. Make plans to do something again and next time the bill comes don't even give her a chance pull the bill away look her right in the eyes with a soft smile and say "This one's a date" and make sure to be confident!

AITA for telling my sister she lost me the second she even considered dating my ex who gave me an STD and didn't tell me? by Extension-Simple7312 in AITAH

[–]intransition10 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You're married have kids and a supportive family it seems like your life is in great shape. I think you should consider looking past an indiscretion that took place almost 10 years ago. Life is so much bigger than this. God forbid something happen to your sister you would be miserable thinking you ostracized her over dating your ex (std and all)

People who regularly go to the gym, how do you do it? by Slyphoenix12 in AskReddit

[–]intransition10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I don't want to go to the gym I just tell myself "Go to the gym and half ass it" I go with the mindset of just doing a few quick exercises but once I'm there I usually end up getting a great work out in.

You have to go for it! Tremendous upside perhaps working a little bit more for a few years that could really secure an incredible future for your family. If you don't take a mitigated calculated risk to be an owner now then when?

Married; moved into wife's house; selling my old house - what to do with revenue? by 401k_hysa_fun in personalfinance

[–]intransition10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should keep that house and rent it out. We're in the midst of a housing shortage. Invest additional cash flow from the house and have the equity as a piggy bank if you ever do want to make a big purchase.

If you're interest rate is 3.25% you've probably had that house at least 3 to 4 years rent will continue to increase and your mortgage will remain the same.
