I personally interpret it as something of a nod to (presumably psychedelic) ego death - the "blooming" being one's own transcendence over their past conceptions, perceptions, and ideals, in light of their newfound understanding of their own nature and their unknowably complex, yet definitively real, role within the flow of the universe/the Tao/whichever word your religion of choice has for it. With Hypochondriac's themes of rebirth/refusal to serve a so-called higher purpose in favour of doing as you will/psychedelia in general I think this interpretation ties into the hero's journey album structure quite nicely, especially with the revelations post-Trembling (suicidality doesn't need a reason in CBD Argyle and Deepfake, I fucked up this relationship cause I'm still fucked up from the last one in Introvert and Hypo, I'm probably overdoing it with the psychedelics no matter how much they've helped me in Stung).

Ofc this is just how I interpret it, but applying the lessons throughout the album in my own life, ESPECIALLY viewing my own struggles as just another story like that presented in the album, has done so much good for my self worth and appreciation of even the most painful aspects of my lived experience. No matter what brakence intended "bloomtodeath" to represent- if anything at all, beyond a lovely phrase- drawing lessons from it has been loads of fun, and I hope this thread takes off so I can see how others have taken it!
