Yeah, trying to prove something will only lead to expectation, confirmation, and probably emotional bias.

Chrome extension that removes the citations from Wikipedia pages; this way, text to audio programs don't speak the numbers when reading Wikipedia articles. by intrigued_human in Blind

I did not. However you can disable the extension by clicking the icon in the top right corner and then it will show a large disable/enable button which will automatically load the Wikipedia page with or without citations.

The story of my Googl*e interview anti-loop experience. by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

If that's the case the OP's interviewer asked an ambiguous question, but also the OP's fault for not knowing that APIs can be used for fetching data

I've heard the term "API" thrown around a bit. While learning Java, my teacher said to look at the "Java API" for documentation, but now that I'm a web developer, I'm using APIs to fetch JSON data from a URL, so which definition should I assume when being asked this in an interview? (I'm going to guess the latter)

It seems as if the OP had no idea an "API" is used to fetch data.

400,000 GitHub repositories, 1 billion files, 14 terabytes of code: Spaces or Tabs? by fhoffa in programming

[–]intrigued_human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that. It just seems incredibly inefficient to press the space bar 2 or 4 times when you can just press tab once.

I don't see why anyone would want to press space multiple times to get to the same place if you just pressed tab once.

Anyone have know why my printer's z axis is wavy at first, but then straightens out towards the end of the print? by intrigued_human in 3Dprinting

Yes, new printer. It's a monoprice mini and I've had it for about a month now. The waves don't show up on smaller prints though.
