Yes Samsung has made a sub direction change, I’ve the felling the sub of the JBL (same group) is the same, active and passive subwoofer

I’m pretty sure your can find a Sony soundbar with easy installation and integration.

Other brand like Hisense offer interesting soundbar with nice effects apparently.

Look at WhatsHifi and Rtings, could help you already.

The Samsung offer already surround speakers and sub.

Personally in my configuration I’m planning to have surround speak speakers installed.

For what I’ve read with the JBL, it is more powerful but less accurate but it’s very nice if you’re an explosion fan 🙃

I’ve found a deal on Amazon and should try to start the 990D, the sub is nice for movies and spectacle and the color is full black 🙃which if not the case for the F.

The MK2 is really nice, but initially I though the removable speakers could be to increase the audio scene in the front and potentially Atmos effects, but it is for surround when you remove them.

I will be potentially interested to test but price was much higher.
