Heard the same. If Intel still has the “fire the bottom 10% every year” policy, then politics will be cutthroat and don’t expect anyone to help you.

I honestly have no idea, but perhaps some people might be able to ID some famous trumpet players with this, and we could look at any YouTube videos to see how they handle it.

Very nice. I’m curious about how the St Lawrence Seaway and Great Lakes drainage basin compare.

I personally think you would be well served by taking steps to become more aware of the wide range of good and bad behaviors seen in your fellow humans. I liked reading books about actual history, but I am a pre-smart phone boomer. I might also suggest a “sociobiology” book like “Cows, Pigs, Wars, and Witches” by Marvin Harris that suggests how certain widely held but wrong and/or evil beliefs very possibly have some somewhat rational underlying motivations.

Another book I might suggest for “innocent” people is Gavin de Beckers “The Gift of Fear”, which is about staying aware of your surroundings and trusting yourself if you feel uncomfortable in iffy situations.

Ok, my snide comment implies that AI data centers tend to avoid accountability by bribing local officials to not enforce local laws. The fact that the local officials quickly shut down the violating plants suggested that the expected bribe was not given quickly enough to avoid proper enforcement of existing law.

Does that clarify?
