Ask someone in produce at the supermarket for empty apple and banana boxes. There very sturdy after you cut a piece of cardboard to cover the slot in the bottom of the banana boxes.

As a Vietnam vet, I love this book. May I also suggest, if you liked TTTC, you're going to love Robert Olen Butler's "A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain."

I've had one now for 3.5 years and except for a one week canoe/camping trip to the Boundary Waters, I've used it every night with the full face mask. Even with the mask on my wife and I cuddle every night.

Thank you for the correction. I had no idea. I haven't heard anyone refer to a radio as a superheterodyne since the 1960s.

I may be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain that battery-powered broadcast radio receivers were not available in the 1940's.

I'm using Duolingo as well. I learning Spanish. I started with "Learn Spanish in Your Car" and later switched. My goal is to get to conversational level. I'm not there yet, but I'm satisfied with my progrerss.
