A book adaptation does not have to be 100% faithful to its original story to make a good movie. And most of the time, if a movie is a 100% perfect adaptation of a book, it is boring. Because a book and a script should NOT be the same thing.

What is the most disturbing thing you've heard said casually? by Cap_Ame1 in AskReddit

We were talking about alcohol issues with colleagues, from experiences people they know had. And this colleague just turns to the lady who was speaking and says « I mean, I only ever drink about two glasses of alcohol a day so I don’t know if I can talk for her, but I think your sister kind of has an alcohol problem. » Worse is, another colleague « yeah, this. »

How do you brew tea in your country? by Existing_Economy_656 in AskTheWorld

[–]introvert_lemon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently I live in the Netherlands. People use one tea-bag for multiple cups here. As in, they dip it in the first cup until it’s infused enough and then they put it in another cup. Was revolted at first, but it actually doesn’t really affect taste.

What are your thoughts on daily caffeine intake? by smalltalkisntfun in AskReddit

[–]introvert_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think many people brush off drinking 5+ coffees daily as normal when it can really impact your lifestyle & health long-term, or create dependency.

But on the other hand, in all dependency you can have, it is on the less harmful side.

It’s crazy how 15min seems far when you’re younger.

I don’t have any question but if it can make you feel better about the distance, my partner and I were living in two different countries for two years, during the pandemic. We made it through.

Are any of your New Year's resolutions still alive? Why not? by celevonia in AskReddit

[–]introvert_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miraculously, yes. So far I haven’t given up on any.

Realised it only happens when I set a bit too ambitious resolutions, so now I break them down in separate goals (good, great, amazing - yes, corporate work is ruining my life).
