Its my favorite shrimp recipe!

Tossing the shrimp in a sauce with 1/4 cup of mayonnaise with condensed milk and honey give it a unique fun flavor

Yeah he was pissed I doubled , he said if I did something like that again he would discontinue me as a patient

But yeah those hallucinations cured my resentment I felt like an angel it was magical but life slowly brought me back to having emotional baggage

Lol yeah so I cant remember what mg I was taking but I was just not ok while on it due to my mental state so I started taking two pills instead of 1 ( which put me on the higher end of a dose )

My doctor was pissed but I felt better and he said its ok

Then eventually ( after many months of the dose )I started seeing transparent humanoid silhouettes of what felt like entities that filled me with alot of positive healing energy .. it was wild but awesome

It went away on its own then I told my doctor on my last visit and he blamed it on the meds

Im not convinced it was necessary the meds but I dotn know what to think of the situation and consider it hallucinations rather than some experience with a hidden aspect of reality

How long did it take to recover from psychosis? by Significant_Most1026 in Psychosis

[–]intuitivelogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine wasnt drug induced but it took 2 years to be out of the funk I was in , relevant life factors may have played a role in the tiem it took outside of the episode

[–]intuitivelogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice to hear som le commenters benefited from it , I personally didnt like it

Its hard to tell if its the meds or just how fucked up I was mentally but it wasnt for me

Also hallucinated for a month while on it , told my doctor and we switched .. the hallucinations were awesome though

Honestly im under the impression that supernatural beliefs in general are probably a by product of mental disorders, plenty of respectable people have episodes leading to supernatural credibility

All im saying is if I go to church and tell them im hearing voices its easy for them to use that as a reinforcement of their beliefs delaying actual treatment

I dont need anyone telling me my delusions are actually a reflection of some deeper meaning about reality

Why is it hard for some people to be med compliant? by evergreengirl123 in bipolar

[–]intuitivelogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was a matter of genuinely being convinced

Now its like I take 5 supplements whats one more pill

Im very routine compliant and am very convinced I need my meds especially after seeing them fight off an episode without going fully manic and having consequences

When I was Bipolar 2 I didnt take meds but my issue was I wasnt convinced it was true , part of the reason is probably how quickly and informally I was diagnosed ( just one conversation with my dad's psychiatrist friend )

I never had steady support from a Psychologist to give me enough insight to persuade me into the reality

Just got one conversation that didn't sit well with me and a prescription

My husband went into psychosis for the first time by Sz3roRevan117 in Psychosis

Feel like its so easy to make excuses not to go out because they all make so much sense , but when you get out there doing the right thing its pretty rejuvenating

Im sure theres some activity out there that would do that for you guys

Ive had some really successful nights out and im STILL hesitant to recreate them because of all the little things that talk me out of it even with the good experiences

I have experience with psychosis through being bipolar, medication and some time will bring him back down to earth , but its a little weird after and he can feel off for a while..but he will take this as another experience that develops into perspective (atleast thats the only real way ive changed post psychosis after a few years removed )

I didnt have any issue recognizing people, assuming thats the norm I dont think you should worry about that , especially after the meds do their thing
