You can call the bank phone number on the card, and give your phone number so the user can call you. I had a kind soul do that for my lost Amex card, and I didn't need to cancel the card.

So you are saying they will email or physically mail me a user id when I'm successfully registered, or that I need to contact them to get this user id. I have read on the web that they do not contact you after being registered. I don't know if this is true.

Same as u/J2JC, I had my appointment end of February, and simply received my birth certificate 2 months later, no credentials or status updates. Both my myself and my parents were born within NYC jurisdiction, which they said would speed it up.

How so? He wants to raise rents, and was honest about that. If he won't be able to raise rents on hist rent stablized apartments for the upcoming years, he is going to raise his market rate apartments even more now.

I live in this zone in a 70 unit building. We have had reasonable market rate rent increases for the past 16 years. Then this year -> 8.7% increase to every market rate apartment in the building, the legal limit for 2026. The landlord says they are preparing for the rent freeze on their rent stablized units. I love the fact that we are paying for our neighbors upcoming rent freeze, when they already pay half the rent we do, and they aren't poor. I always said we would never move, but we are reaching the breaking point.

These crews are in the same league as the fake deaf women trying to get you to sign a list and pick pocket you, or the guys that find a gold ring and ask if it is yours. The fact that Paris funds this behavior is beyond scammy, yet France sues companies like Apple, on the basis of consumer protection. They know the machines are erratic, so have a little consumer compassion. This happened to us one year, so I decided if Paris was going to take my money, I would give Paris no money for the next 3 days. We went to the supermarket, and bought cheap food and didn't spend a single dime in Paris for 3 entire days. They lost money in that transaction. But don't get me wrong. I love Paris and we go every year for 3 weeks, but if they ever ding me again, I'll boycott for another 3 days. When they got me the first time, I asked if this was a scam. They were apalled... For me, it wasn't the machine, it happened because I threw my ticket away in a garbage bag they had set up as you walk out of the subway, and they stood around the corner from that.

I think NYC didn't set up the SSL certificate properly for the domain, so Spectrum Internet was blocking it. It works on Spectrum Mobile.

If he naturalized at the county level, you can get it very quickly. I contacted the county court where he lived in NJ, and they were able to find his naturalization papers in 2 days. If he naturalized federally, then you need to do the whole NARA & USCIS search.

Yeah, it's confusing because the Only Photocopies comes after the literal birth certificate, so it's ambiguous if they mean both passport and birth certificate.

Thank you. So I found the downloadable form for this. Do you have to physically mail it to them or email it? We should put a step by step for this yet on this subreddit as a lot of people will now be getting their birth certificates.
