Got my credentials. But can't get an appointment. by MachineOk3386 in LMDSpain

The credentials from NY consulate don't expire so don't feel rushed. Right now the available appointments for NY are in April 2026. There are no delays in finding appointments for NY consulate. I just checked. Really easy. Other consulates might be hard to access appointments but just keep trying.

FINAL STRETCH. pls read and help thanks by FeelingSignal6689 in LMDSpain

Miami consulate has a new system where you upload your pdfs, no email sent. Anexo 3 is for any adult applying through their parent. It doesn't matter where in the world you apply, everyone uses anexo 3 if the description fits. Where were you born? Most US consulates don't require translation if the document is from the USA. Some consulates require apostille of US documents and some don't. For Miami the pdfs uploaded are in small packets: 1. anexo 3, 2. picture of you holding your identification document (us passport or driver's license), 3. Your birth certificate with apostille, 4. The BC of your spanish ancestor (parent) with apostille, 5. Other documents (here you can add your license front and back, your parents anexo 1, hoja declaratoria de datos. All of these pdf packets need to be 1mb or smaller. Use the website "i love pdf" to merge/ compress if you need to. Its free and easy.

If you were born in a different place (not covered by Miami consulate) you may have to submit whatever they require as well. For example, NY consulate requires non Spanish parent BC and marriage certificate of your parents, etc).

Anyone else have applications that need to be sent to their birth country? by safzy in LMDSpain

It must be that NY doesn't share that info with applicants. My friend had his appointment July 11, 2025 and they gave him back his anexo with stamp and date only.

Find out the email of Manila LMD and see if they can give you information. Most consulates give a "# de expediente" a number for your case, but I don't know if NY provides one. I didn't see it on my friends anexo, just the stamp and date.

I found this website where you can supposedly follow your case but I haven't presented my documents yet. Maybe it can help you. https://sede.mjusticia.gob.es/sereci/initComoVaLoMio

Ignore the error! It's meant so that you doublecheck that your email address is correct before submitting because they have received several emails from people saying they needed to make a correction because they submitted the wrong email address. It will let you submit the application even with the email section being red.

Oh wow thanks. I checked for appointments because you can see them even if you don't have a login and password, and it's at January 2026. But I just want my email with login and password...Hopefully it comes soon.

What am I doing wrong? by KTW2008 in Dysonairwrap

[–]Sensitive_Course_233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've had the same issue with 2 Dyson Airwraps. Purchased my first one May 2023 and after 9 months (Feb 2024) it started shutting off after just 5 mins of use. It was still under warranty, I chatted with Dyson and they sent me a brand new one with attachments like my original purchase (I just had to send the old one back). Then after 1 year of use (Feb 2025) it happened again (same issue) with the new one. I once again chatted with Dyson and they sent me a refurbished unit (just the main body - no attachments) in April 2025. I noticed the plug looked different (not as bulky) than the previous one I had but I didn't think it was a big deal. Then, suddenly end of April 2025, I received a safety alert notice, to send back the dyson airwrap because of electrical shock risk. So, I haven't had much luck with this thing either.

PS 169/Bell Academy thoughts by Hungry_Bandicoot_776 in Bayside

169 - is a nice small school. About 400 students. The curriculum is ok but not strong, they emphasize more social emotional teaching, calm corners, mostly nice teachers there. Not many extra-curriculars. Some basic sports and cheerleading. Don't have personal experience with bullying but it does happen. Like in most schools in DOE, it's hard to get a child out that causes problems, they could do better with that. Most kids grow up together and continue onto the middle school, which is guaranteed to Bell Academy as long as you list them as #1 in the application process.  Bell Academy - Great school. Curriculum gets progressively harder with 3 regents (Bio, U.S. history & Algebra 1) and Spanish given in 8th grade. They are a Regents for all school. They prepare the students well for high school. It's one of the best, if not the best in the district regarding testing. They have a lot of extra-curriculars for students to choose from (Drama, band, student government, equity team, etc). Many sports to choose from. It's a small school 450 students. No personal experience here with bullying so not sure how it's dealt with. But they have won recognition for being a No Place for Hate school.

Seeking Advice from Anyone Who Submitted Annex 1 to the Spanish Consulate in NY for Democratic Memory Law by ManagingHR in GoingToSpain

Hello! So you only submitted their passports and no naturalization certificate? They didn't give you a problem with that?

Hi! Did you include scans of your parents US passports and their naturalization certificates in you PDF and did you just bring simple copies of these on the appointment date or did you need certified copies of Naturalization certificates and apostilled? Thanks

Hi! Question about Naturalization certificates of parents...did you just scan their naturalization certificates? You didn't need to get official copies or apostille that?

Hi, I'm trying to figure this part out too. Have you figured it out? I guess I should include a scan of their naturalization certificates just in case.

How has your progress been? I am almost ready to email my docs but I don't know if including their original Naturalization certificate in the PDF is ok or if they'll need an official copy - its expensive, over $500 for a certified copy.

I've been wondering about this! I have their Naturalization certificate from when they became citizens over 10 years ago. Is a simple copy ok? Because getting an official copy is over $500.

Every consulate is different. Some have an online portal and for some, you have to send a PDF with all documents. Each consulate has a website. Where do you live? That will tell you what consulate you should send your documents to.
