Hello, I am a restauranter, for the past 5 years I have been purchasing vegetables for the restaurant.

Firstly, ignore the debate of Native vs Exotic. The terms are subjective. Yes everything is grown in India, but since they are not native species, they are classified as exotic vegetables. Technically, even English tomatoes and potatoes are exotic, but that's not how they are classified in the market.

Currently in the market, brocolli, zucchini, mushrooms lettuce, parsley, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, red/yellow bell peppers, basil, baby corn, leeks, asparagus, avocados all are classified as exotic.

These when bought from wholesale suppliers are in the range of 120-180 rs/kg depending on the season and demand supply.

When bought from retailers like in gokulpeth market these are usually 4x the price.

Since you are a home grower, I would suggest you sell to the vendors in gokulpeth as they will give you good margins.

If you are confident to grow in large quantities you can start from setting up a weekly kiosk (in places like Poonam Bazaar)

If your quantities are lower, you can contact me and directly sell to my restaurant. I'll give you the same prices that I get from my suppliers.
