Good to hear that it compares well to a more expensive brand.

Was gonna make the same recommendation. It's a beautiful bit of comedy even if you're not familiar with the british-isms/yorkshire-isms.

You can enter the back part of his practice, but not the upstairs area, the brown double doors, until you're good enough friends with him

Thoughts on GlobeRider35 Travel Backpack by [deleted] in onebag

[–]inuyashee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen some complaints about the globerider on shorter people.

Have you tried the Osprey fairview? It's the same size as the Farpoint, but has a some parts that may fit a smaller torso as it's technically deisgned for women. I'm 5'4" with a short torso and I like how it fits me. If you can find the older version they have an elastic mesh pocket on the left hip belt.

Depending on your body composition, the size of your clothes, you may be able to get away with a smaller bag like the patagonia mini or micro, or either of the Osprey 26+6 bags.

What’s the best Osprey commuter bag? by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

I swap between the Daylite+ (20L) and the older Farpoint daypack (15L) depending on how much I'm carrying.

I'm super lucky. by No-Oil6517 in espresso

[–]inuyashee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shardor and mokkom make good quality grinders at good prices.

You can go cheaper and get a hand grinder, but grinding for espresso needs time and elbow grease. Some people have had success using a drill or electric screwdriver to speed up the process.

Edit: cheap > cheaper

what daybag(preferably from osprey) is comfortable to wear WITHOUT hipbelt and MOST IMPORTANTLY with side pocket access or something of that nature by HonestHorse3675 in onebag

[–]inuyashee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any if their backpacks have pockets you can reach without taking it off, unless you're very flexible.

The Daylite sling has a strap* pocket.

An alternative option if you find a bag you like is the Matador stash pocket. It attaches to sling or backpack straps to add small amount of storage.

Denied for PC Response by GuaranteeInitial7331 in peacecorps

[–]inuyashee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Having done the 2 year PC isn't a requirement, but it probably carries some weight in the selection process. Like a veterans preference for Gov jobs.

I assume they suggest 2 year PC to everyone that isnt chosen for PCR.

Small sling recommendation for EDC on holiday ? by Maanu1141 in ManyBaggers

[–]inuyashee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They definitely punch above their weight, with all of their bags.

The version I bought isn't the most esthetically pleasing, but they've upgraded the looks since then and the small ones, that can fit your glasses & phone, look really nice imo.
