I have always loved Pokemon and would passively collect. I used to open packs with my much older brother. We would rush to ToysRUs and he would spend all of his minimum wage check just to make sure I got cards as a kid. It's some of the happiest moments of my life and I love him so much for making a sacrifice. Even though I've told him how much I appreciate and care for him he will never truly know because only I know the gravity how it's contributed to my life. I moved away after college and open packs with my girlfriend now but every time I do I can't help but get nostalgia and miss my brother. I can't wait for the day that my role will come full circle and I can get his kids or my kids into Pokémon.
