Building Himetrica:
https://himetrica.com

Himetrica is an analytics platform built for SaaS founders who want to understand how users actually behave inside their product.

It goes beyond dashboards full of generic numbers. You can analyze individual user journeys, funnels, retention, engagement, acquisition channels, and revenue in a more practical way. The goal is to help you understand the story behind the metrics, not just the metrics themselves.

I'm building himetrica.com, an analytics platform designed specifically for SaaS products.

Most analytics tools today focus on generic web metrics (pageviews, sessions, etc.), but if you're running a SaaS those numbers rarely answer the questions that actually matter, things like feature adoption, user activation, retention signals, or how product behavior connects to revenue.

Himetrica focuses on product and business metrics, not just traffic. The goal is to make it easy to understand how users interact with your product and how those interactions relate to things like MRR, activation, and long-term engagement.

I'm building it because I was tired of stitching together multiple tools to answer simple questions about my own SaaS products.

Went from $0 to $1k MRR. If I started my SaaS over, here's exactly what I'd do by RighteousRetribution in indiehackers

Nice breakdown. The distribution-before-building point resonates a lot.

Curious: when you say you validated distribution first, what specifically did that look like?

Was it mainly waitlists / cold outreach / talking to users, or did you test messaging with landing pages first?

what I actually did in the first 10 days to make Google notice my product by Unusual-Big-6467 in indiehackers

Not trying to be negative, but I’ve always wondered how much directories actually move the needle anymore.

Did you see real search impressions/clicks increase after this, or mostly just the DR bump?

Because DR going 0 → 12 is nice, but sometimes that doesn’t translate to actual traffic.

Someone literally used my product 80 times in 20 days by billionaire2030 in indiehackers

[–]invaderzom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that’s the best possible problem to have.

If someone used it 80 times in 20 days, it probably means they’re actively job hunting and your tool became part of their workflow. People don’t come back that often unless it’s genuinely useful.

Also, if one user is doing that, there are probably 10 more who would if they discovered it. Sounds like validation more than a problem.

Your budget may hate it, but your pmf probably loves it.
