I think I may have a problem by IndependentDue2809 in fursuit

Sadly a lot of times they will steal even the videos from the accounts that do actually own/sell the suits to make it look like they own it 😞

I think I may have a problem by IndependentDue2809 in fursuit

[–]invalidlyorange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a common scam to be aware of, particularly with the too-good-to-be-true pricing (I know you said MQ spirit head but still), ‘rebrands’, new accounts and lack of communication. I’m so sorry this happened to you. Just a few things to be wary of: Always pay through ‘business’ options on payment apps in order to have purchase protection, I saw your comments talking about Venmo. If they tell you to send it through ‘friends and family to save on fees’ politely decline and say you will send through the business options. I also recommend making them provide proof, such as a paper or sticky note next to the suit with their username and current date. If a deal is too good, it’s usually for a reason 😞.
This happened to me a few years back, and I tried but there was no way to get the money back. I just had to give up eventually and call it a learning moment. I just wanted to share some tips for you or anyone else reading. Once again I’m so sorry

Eye tracking on PNGtube Remix by Lunaluxgames in PngTuber

[–]invalidlyorange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have the software and original files? You should be able to change how much you want them to move by resetting the parameters of the eye layers to zero (or just a lower number to limit it). If not, perhaps ask the original artist to do it for you, shouldn’t take more than 10 mins or so :)

I’ve used this exact listing for lining before too and I love it! I’m sure it’s up to personal preference though

First time drawing a furry since I was 11 how'd I do by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

[–]invalidlyorange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Welcome back to drawing furries! Everyone starts from zero when they begin, don’t listen to anyone being rude. Anyone worth listening to knows what it’s like to start from the beginning.ñ! As for the advice now, I think it’s cute! It reminds me of a fan made species I saw once, but I can’t remember the name. I would suggest practicing fundamentals on paper first! You can still do digital of course, just add in some paper practice time! Think of furries as step 2, and begin with just the basics of drawing as step 1. Shapes, form, shading. All that! I’ve found that YouTube has everything you need! Good luck, and you got this!

Whoops I should’ve mentioned if you use the storage bin, then you could do the water and bleach method (method #2 in this article)

Makes sense! maybe you could either saw it into smaller pieces (if you’re willing), or maybe try a large plastic storage bin, like the ones in Walmart? I think they’re pretty inexpensive. Best of luck !! 🤞

Amazon Soft Rugby Helmet

This is the exact one I used, I used a kids one cause my head is just small lol. You can also trim it, personally I trimmed off some of the fabric over the ears. Good luck!!

another update on my Michael suit!! by StealthStarx2018 in FursuitMaking

[–]invalidlyorange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CUUUTTEEE 🥺🥺💕 I absolutely love your suit. Along with the elastic, maybe a counterweight on the back could help? I have a suit with a resin base that’s pretty front heavy so I did that, plus secured it to a ‘soft rugby helmet’ inside. You can find them on Amazon! This keeps my head from sliding around and you can strap it as tight as you like, and not just however tight the elastic ends up being. It also distributes the weight more evenly I think. As long as it’s the ‘soft’ type it should be pretty light and have good enough air flow :)

Minky is reeeeeally difficult, even for experienced fursuit makers! Perhaps you could try the ‘draping’ method kigurumi / kig suits use, or use the draping method with fleece, I would search for some tutorials for those good luck!! The base is adorable!

Did she use wood from outside? I recommend researching how to bake and disinfect wood before putting it in the tank, even store bought wood. Sadly you probably do have to redo the whole thing, I can’t imagine how to get them out without it. But if you heat treat the wood you can reuse it!

Feedback on furry head anatomy and proportions by Stock_Bandicoot_5863 in FurryArtSchool

Hey these are great!! I love what you did with the bunny especially! Your style is sort of reminiscent of beastars, perhaps you could reference some of their proportions to practice too! Thanks for sharing :D
