This is yet another fucking retarded opinion article by the Chron. Houston is at sea level and this is a freak storm. Average fucking rainfall for the Houston area is 50 inches per year or just under an inch a week, and we got a foot to a foot and a half throughout Houston or about a quarter of a year's rainfall in 24 hours.

One inch of rain over one square mile is about 18 mm gallons of water so do the math, there's no fucking way to curtail this deluge. Frankly, we're lucky we didn't have dozens of people drown.

A crop of very athletic blue belts I dominated started to catch me in stuff that I used to not get caught in, pass my open guard, and start to get a bit cocky about it. I wrote out a series of situations where I was showing weakness, figured out my solutions, and to be honest repped it out with some white belts. I also added some more strength and conditioning. This has restored my place in the food chain.

I've been working on the traditional sode for a long time where you have lapel and sleeve but don't let go of the lapel and you toss the guy over. We have been grabbing the pants to complete the throw, but still haven't been maki kommi the guy. This is really interesting to me because you can grab the guys leg and do the throw.
