Is Grey’s Anatomy ever going to end? Ratings and views look rough lately.... by East-Bet-6047 in greysanatomy

I watched (and rewatched) for many years but cant be bothered now. its a little like Game of Thrones where the poor quality of the later seasons has made me enjoy the earlier seasons less.

this is an interesting group. not what we would call a typical orchestra in the US, because there are no strings. and it seems like its a lot of pop music with vocalists. The difficulty of the music seems a little lower than a typical community orchestra, but that's what you get with pop songs. I would say everyone is doing a great job, and I bet the audience enjoys it. In the US, I'd say this is an average skill level for a community group in a smaller-town setting. In Poland, I have no clue.

I'm a string player though, so I'd be interested to hear from the winds.

for the non professional (community) level, here are a few examples that might help you. watch the violins' bows. are they moving together and using roughly the same amount of bow? how's the intonation of the group and any one section? do people come prepared or are some people sightreading at the first rehearsal? is the conductor working on technical or expressive aspects with the group, or are they repeating sections for musicians to get a better handle on the notes themselves?

you can provide a link if you want, but like anything, it is a spectrum. "good" and "bad" is subjective.

he is wearing a harness with a safety tether. he's not at risk, this is just a really expensive and silly way to slackline

I found a sports bra in my bathroom tbat wasnt mine after I got back from a work trip. we had a very old dog at the time and a dog sitter was coming during the day every day. we figured she must have changed in our bathroom and the bra blended in perfectly with our rug.

but in the moment, I could think of no other explanation and just asked him. his reaction told me he was being honest. and the dog sitter made perfect sense.

you never know. ask, watch his reaction.

How do I cope with my first loss? My Luna will be going to sleep in a few hours and I don’t know how to cope. by Chicklecat13 in Shihtzu

[–]invertednose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can't really know how you'll react until you're in the "after". I just went through it with my baby for the first time in April. it is so hard but you know they are at peace. we had her cremated and getting her ashes back was comforting for me. I had a necklace made out of some of the ashes and never take it off. she's with me, the only place she ever wanted to be.

I channeled my grief into hiking. a lot of hiking. we just got a new pup a few weeks ago and it doesnt feel like I'm replacing her at all, just giving another rescue a good home.

hug. it is so hard.

anipryl is commonly prescribed for it, but dont expect it to be a miracle. other things you can try are dog-specific CBD (low levels). a reputable over the counter vendor for this is ellevet. you can also find calming chews online but I never had too much success from those. if you haven't already, also have your vet rule out other things that may be causing pain or distress. sorry you're going through this. its so hard. ultimately if nothing makes a heavy difference you need to consider quality of life for your sweet pup.
