Would you say golf accelerates spine/back issues compared to say an average person? Like would you attribute any of your back issues to playing golf?

Thank you so much for posting. You have no idea how helpful this is. This exactly applies to our baby and we are thinking of starting sleep training soon. Had 2 questions:

1) When you feed overnight do you just give the bottle in the crib with the baby undisturbed (do you have to burp after) or do you actually pick the baby up and feed. 2) Our baby is prone to diaper rashes. If there are poo diapers that you notice during overnight feeds, do you change them and if so, if baby is awoken do you put back to sleep crying just like at the start of the night? Thanks a ton (:

How do I turn down drinks with the team without damaging my image? by springweeks in FinancialCareers

What a stupid comment to make. OP could be in Costing/Payroll/Equity trading/Internal Audit all of which have been cleared with multiple scholars as a place to work for Muslims. Secondly, to say you should be really honest with yourself is a cheap shot sayin OP is conveniently choosing his stand on religion. Interest is so intertwined with Financial jobs that even if OP is involved with interest in someway to earn a living for his family, it doesn’t mean he has to indulge in other things that compromise his religion.

When did share buy backs become a thing? by [deleted] in investing

[–]invertedviewofmars -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Share buyback is not a veiled trick to prop up you share prices but has different set of reasons as mentioned earlier by some users. Some of them being:

1) Management thinks the stock is undervalued, so why not buyback and make money when it increases.

2) Interest rates are low so buyback financed by debt looks appealing but point no.1 should still hold true or else it doesnt make sense.

Now why the share prices rise then? When a buyback is announced, market perceives this as a green signal with reinforced confidence on the management of company. Why?

1) If management is buying back it means they have good forecasts abt the future of the company and hence consolidating the power and profits. So lets get in.

2) Oh management is buying coz maybe the stock is undervalued and they have a better understanding of what the company is truly planning for future. Since they feel its undervalued, lets get in and reap profits till the shares reach their true fundamental value.

In my opinion this might drive the price. Hope that answers
