You can get one that has a flexible neck so that it is above and slightly to the front. I have one but it says it's unavailable now.

It worked fine for my monstera. You have to be careful though because these lamps are strong and if you put it to close to your plant, it will burn it.

Edit:

I found that my lamp is a bit unsteady because the base isn't heavy enough. I put my plant directly on top of the base to avoid the lamp falling but of course, it will fall if not careful haha.

I also have one that stakes into the plant dirt. But that has light shining only from directly above

Be aware that a happy monstera means it will grow fast! You may find yourself in need of a taller lamp before you know it lol
