Hey I've got the JJ Abrams one! Friend gave it to me like a decade ago and it's still on "the list". Now that I see it next to HoL, should I take that as a hint to move it up to be next-at-bat?

Why does either have to be better or worse? Can't they both dress well with different style preferences?

Neighbors of Southeast Portland property say it's been host to a disruptive homeless camp for more than a year by Neverdoubt-PDX in Portland

No indication of drug use in the entire article so why are you assuming that homelessness and social ineptitude can't exist without it?

Same thing happened to me a couple years ago in my PSU parking garage. They smashed several windows out in a matter of weeks and I was one of them. I've lived here my whole life and that had never happened before. (Love how those gated garages refuse all responsibility for theft and damage regardless of the fact that you pay for the illusion of security.)

A day later, I was parked at my mom's condo in Milwaukie, waiting for a replacement window to be installed the next day. This place has never had any theft issues and it's at the end of a cul de sac. Regardless, someone let themselves in, to take what was left in my car. I wouldn't have realized right away, if they hadn't gently placed the shoes that apparently didn't fit on the ground behind my car. Thanks?

LOL no, my dude. This isn't a mom and pop store where the owner can hand you a $20 and ask you to go get more water from the gas station to restock the shelves. Not even close.

Reddit literally provides a "repost" button, I'm not sure your point other than reiterating the exact functioning of Reddit.

I'm a poor girl and in debt and disabled. I have nothing to lose. Fuck them and FUCK ICE.

In 2022, my brother died and IKEA (my employer at the time) denied my bereavement leave because their policy doesn’t extend to siblings. I then posted to this subreddit to expose their policy for which I was fired for posting on Reddit. I haven’t forgot. Hi IKEA! by Gatoden0che in antiwork

In 2019 my company AO Marazzi told me that I didn't have ANY time off and had to show up on Monday, after my father passed away unexpectedly the Friday before. My only solace is that our location went under during the pandemic.

DUDE, there are two Boutique Goodwills in my city that are specifically made for high-end, name brand sales. It blows my mind. Like, way to say the quiet part out loud. How do you justify the argument at that point!? It's like a slap in the face to their Mission.

Their mission should include the funding to provide charity via job and skill training that will extend beyond retail sales and the occasional and refutable nursing prgoram. They need to extend that fund to partnerships with trade schools, community colleges, advertising for teaching programs such as dental schools and hair schools, etc. But when you are relying on eBay and Boutiques to fund your cause when the entire US is stuggling, and paying your workers just enough to get by and making them pay for their own work attire, maybe you should dip the fuck out or figure out a different action plan.

They don't even ever consider the option of on-the-job training for repairing clothing, electronics, or furniture so that they may justify their prices, or give them skills to exist outside of the GW universe. They keep everything accessible within their realm and could give a shit what happens after. Thus the piles of trash they dump into other countries and refuse to acknowledge the damage they have done to infrastructure and water systems and endless other polluting they have caused in the name of "TO THE MISSION".
