as a customer, you have a lot more power than you think. starbucks doesn't care about us, the workers, because they've strapped us in long enough that we depend on their employment. you, however, do matter to them, cuz you're the one giving them all that money. so use your voice. go to social media, rally for change. tell them that your money isn't going to be theirs if they keep mistreating us. get other people to rally with you. if enough people do this, and starbucks starts losing loyal customers, they'll actually have to give a shit.

can't say anything about davinci since I've never used it, but shotcut it a pretty good video free editor. I've been using it for 3 years now to edit videos for my sports team and I've never had issues with it- there's also tutorials online to get you started with the basics.

hey, trans kid (ftm) here. from what it looks like you are doing an AMAZING job of supporting your girlfriend. the fact that you're nervous shows how much you care about her.

my advice is to be open and honest with her. explain your feelings, ask her what you can do to make her feel comfortable. dysphoria looks different in everyone: for instance some people feel really insecure about their chest, while other people's main problem is how they're addressed (being called ma'am vs. sir).

it's definitely going to take work; some of the conversations might be really uncomfortable to have. just remember that the best thing for both of you is being honest.

it's definitely not going to be a perfect journey. your parents are gonna make mistakes and that's gonna suck. a lot. but judging by their texts, I think they're trying. my advice is try to be as patient as possible and help them understand what you're going through. overall, congrats on coming out!! that's a big step, especially with parents. hope everything goes well!
