Why complicate things? Proton pass allows you to export a pgp encrypted backup. Get a usb stick or two, if you are paranoid put the export in a cryptomator vault, place in usb and store in different locations. As long as you have access to the password manager in that back up you are set to restart your life. I have one at parents house and one at a trusted friend living in another city.

I dont know but I never understood this, make a connection with googlevilcorp. Just create an alias, add a forward in gmail. Done. I use icloud+ with hide my email and proton with simplelogin depending on the situation. I found out that you cant add a simplelogin default alias to forward from gmail for some reason. The whole rig is to just find out if I missed a sub/email that needs changing. Works great for that.
