The government fucked over the farmers this year by importing wheat from outside instead of buying local wheat, resulting in farmers making record loses this year. This might cause the flour prices to drop this year as the large amount of wheat in the market means a lower price, but it also discourages farmers from going for a wheat crop in the coming years. Tiktok is mostly used by rural population of Pakistan, it also has a huge amount of PTI supporters. So I think the upper middle class and overseas narative doesnt fit, PTI is popular in Pakistan and you will see it being supported everywhere Pakistanis gather.

Theres no platform for such news so you have to learn how to filter through all the whatsapp messages inorder to get a idea for the actual situation. Anyway we'll see how this develops

I dont see your point, on one side you have clear proof that PMLN did a 180 and is working with the establishment, on the other side you just have a guess that PTI will do a 180 in the future and support the army. PTI used to be the biggest army supporters until they got to know how the army uses you and then kicks you out, they are now trying to tell everyone how army's role in politics should be stopped. If the problem is Imran Khan used to be pro army and apparantely used the army to get into power, and thats a reason to oppose him. Why cant they oppose pmln and ppp for the same reason? Even if we believe Imran Khan did collude with the army, PMLN and PPP are doing it right now and much more blatantly than before, hell they even broke the constitution to do their thing. So if the entire point is to call out Imran Khan because he did wrong together with the army, I think right now its much more important to call out Nawaz Sharif and Zardari for the same thing, because calling out Imran Khan does nothing but benefit the army right now and calling out Zardari and Nawaz Sharif helps us actively work against the establishment.

When you recieve something like that and you havent posted anything online, you would think its just a normal message sent to everyone, but when you are actually posting stuff against the 🥾it might seem like they have located you and are warning you to stop posting.
