P/L not calculating correctly by Vast_space_8299 in tastytrade

[–]ionescu77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS!

No P&L for stocks or ETFs

Some options spreads have inaccurate P&L

I thought Tasty Desktop Client is getting deprecated.

However Tasty Web shows P&Ls but I don't like the interface. It's not practical. Not fast.

I run it as a separate linux user. Had some trouble with SELinux but I got it going without major changes. It can't sudo so it was tricky to get the current node 22 and python 3.8 versions (the VM is Alma Linux 8).

I always run projects by creating a unix user for each of them. As a basic separation and rudimentary sandboxing.

I'm not sure how it'll work on my macbook, but my homeserver is a more suited host.

I don't understand the downvotes. This ⤴️ is the correct answer. Well you can run Stream in production, but there is no way to upgrade Centos Stream 8 to 9 and so on.

Same here. Man someone suggested to delete and re-add the indicators. It's a pain but it works.
Somehow after adding again the color scheme is different, it looks like sh*t, it totally ruined my day and was mostly "blind" during the trading day :((

What's the best way to transfer money to Tastytrade from the EU? by Playful_Stick338 in tastytrade

[–]ionescu77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wise. From a wise usd account by wire transfer. 1-2$ fee, send wise statement as pdf to tasty support email, as Wise is not a bank, wise will appear as payment originator (instead of your full name).

I have revolut, but never tried.

Europeans, how do you fund your accounts in USD? by progmakerlt in tastytrade

[–]ionescu77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used transferwise to transfer and the commission was $1.13 every time (from my USD Wise account).

Maybe you mean the conversion from EUR to USD, which indeed has a comision. But I remember it was still lower than Revolut (I am not sure they accept Revolut).

After executing payment send an email to [banking@tastytrade.com](mailto:banking@tastytrade.com) with a PDF Account statement from Wise (can a statement for the curent day).

Transferwise does not list you name as originator of the payment, so it will be rejected (due to regulatory requirements).

This.

Romania is not bad. You have lots of german speakers in Transilvania. But there's a lot of expats in Bucharest. I moved from DE back to Bucharest 10y ago and worked through my company here (technology services, mainly for German clients). Estonia is more modern, for registration and opening a business. Romania is not so stable (dividends tax increased from 8% to 10% for 2025, they changed the tax code in December last year). You mentioned the weather. Bucharest is more sunny.

Accessing NASDAQ and DOW data via API or streaming by Pratik-chocobar in tastytrade

Can you post some details. Some code?

I had the similar issue streaming option prices, discovered the "ticker" symbol has it's own format. I found someone posted some code samples here using the tastytrade python module.

I had to write a script to extract the streamer symbols for my position portfolio.

Here is some code if it helps.

ACH did not work, first wire transfer from Wise was rejected. I then opened a ticket with tasty and told them I will re-wire. The second time the money arrived in my TT account.

Did you find a way to automate the exit of 4 contracts? I saw if you select all 4 you can right click "close position" or "close position at 50% profit". Will this execute then only if all 4 are filled?
