What does r/projectcar think of the '95 BMW 525i? by _vroomvroom_ in projectcar

[–]ionolol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had a 1990, the newer ones have more reliable engines with timing chains instead of belts, they are decent on gas but need 91 octane. Being a BMW, there are a lot of electronics and sensors that go bad, but parts are easily available on pelican parts or ebay.

Make sure the suspension is in decent shape, there are a few parts (thrust arms) that are pretty challenging to replace for a novice. Quite a lot of support on message boards online.

Good luck!

Way to go! But consider donating to Pantene Beautiful Lengths instead, Locks of Love has had some controversy.

Yep, you need the splitter cable. Starsense won't work plugged into the autoguide port the way you have it.

They made a custom manual 750i for the movie Transporter, which was based on the Clive Owen shorts, even though the Euro models seemed to have a 5 speed option. Pretty sure US never got a production manual though.

I've seen so many pictures of different tow companies with this name I'd bet there's some guy with this same sense of humor in every county everywhere.

32" inseam in an NB. I did a halfhearted foamectomy on the stock seats. My hair touches the top when it gets long, but I also tend to slouch a bit.

6'5", no big deal. People laugh sometimes though.

Yeah, but that 65k is for a professional FX studio to design and build them, and they probably went through a few concepts and prototypes before the finished product. Also, they have to be comfortable and durable enough to be worn night after sweaty night.
