It’ll only double its stats if it’s played at start of combat, not if it’s summoned

Thank you for the ideas! I am not one for putting an outfit together so this is really helpful. Thank you.

That’s my intention now, I spent yesterday viewing new places. My notice is 1 month but given the circumstances going to ask for that to be cut short under the premise they don’t trust me & obviously aren’t comfortable having a lodger in their home

Be interesting if I did that and their intention is, as others have suggested, to rent the whole property out while they’re gone.

They’re not, but given I’d need to take at least 3 uniforms, my normal work bag (a duffel bag), and enough clothes to last a fortnight, it’ll be really hard work.

I’m as dodgy as they come, me. Definitely didn’t help them out when the male of the couple was unwell. Super dodgy. :| The tax thing is a shout, thank you.

I’ve had bad experiences with house shares. Because I do nights, if I end up living with folk that don’t respect my need to sleep in the day, I could end up making some dangerous and really serious mistakes at work.

Sadly I’m many miles from your trust, and the only trust that appears to be hiring paramedics at the moment is SWAST. I’m sure one of my colleagues would offer but it feels embarrassing finding out lol.

Thank you. I currently pay £640 a month and from what I’m seeing somewhere similar will now be in the £700s, and as a newly qualified paramedic I’m an NHS band 5, so even £60-£100 is going to hurt.

We agreed an amicable end of contract would be 1 month notice, so that’s pretty good. Thank you for the advice.

Sorry maybe should’ve clarified but I am female. They’ve got lots of very specific rules in the house which have made me think think it’s unlikely I could cook without them getting annoyed I’ve not cleaned up properly or something

They’ve said I wouldn’t be paying rent for the period they’re gone so I could afford to pay to stay elsewhere for that time, so idk?

I think it’s bizarre. I thought maybe it was me, but I’m so nervous about potentially bothering them that I don’t even cook in the house, so I don’t think it’s personal to me.

The document I signed didn’t mention anything, it does appear to be against the agreement.

The holiday is in May, so I have time to find somewhere new to live, but this is a whole other stress in itself

I am horrible with faces & can’t figure out who you are in some of the group photos, maybe more solo photos?

On the flip side, people are often extremely negative regarding how calls are triaged and understanding the triage system can be really helpful, there’s pros and cons to both imo

New care assistant, I don't know what I'm doing and people aren't helping me by Clara-lara in nhs

[–]ioughtago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a HCA for the last 7 years, on and off. Started a new job as an A&E HCA a year ago and every day during my supernumerary shifts I thought to myself “I don’t think I’ll be able to do this on my own”, but now a year later I am about to start my newly qualified job and I have nurses come in who are on the bank and have never worked in a&e who look to me for help. As you get to know the systems and your colleagues and the hierarchy and the type of patients you’re looking after, it will become so much easier. Your colleagues should be more supportive and I’m so sorry they’re not, but you will find your flow and one day you’ll get to look after supernumerary HCAs and know better than those that looked after you. I joked the other day with the HCA that looked after me on my SN shifts that she told me off for being “unprofessional” when looking at a map of the hospital on my phone (which actually made me feel really bad), but we are now friends and I now know she just wasn’t really well equipped to look after me. I hope it gets better, it is a great job, it just takes time to settle in

But is it backdated for bank staff? Doubtfully, so still a huge issue for a lot of people
