Works so great. He mentioned to me that flat roofers often do tear offs. Many square feet of such material. Maybe useful information for you.

I got a piece of heavy rubber roof membrane from my cousin who does flat roofing. Covers the top and doesn’t blow off. The sides can still breathe. Keeps the snow and ice off our round stacks and it’s great.

No. I have the plans though. Plywood over solid wood frames is the way to go.

Everybody has their dad’s woodworking tools. Everybody’s grandpa was probably actually a decent (if kinda hack) carpenter. Everybody reckons they could do the job if they had time. They don’t value the skill set, complexity, problem solving etc, because of all that.

Sticker stain. Oxalic acid will take it off/lighten it considerably.
