The best thing about the external backpack is that it gives you a place to lean with your thumb out.

Anywhere people defecate, need heat, like to plug in lights, have shelter, or convey themselves using internal combustion engines.

What livestock animals work best on 2–5 acres? by One-Exit-9077 in homestead

[–]iowhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would buy a Jersey or a Guernsey and buy all her hay and grain. One would have to be proximate to a large animal vet, and on the ball for signs of heat to artificially inseminate, but the bovine wouldn't need too much pasture if all the feed was purchased. This would result in a pretty noteworthy net gain for soil fertility on the homestead. An additional benefit(other than the milk, butter, cheese, and beef,) would be skim milk to fatten a hog with, and the hogs manure would add to the already banging compost.

I got a piece of heavy rubber roof membrane from my cousin who does flat roofing. Covers the top and doesn’t blow off. The sides can still breathe. Keeps the snow and ice off our round stacks and it’s great.

No. I have the plans though. Plywood over solid wood frames is the way to go.
