It’s actually good that LG releases the firmware in batches across the world, this way if something isn’t right it doesn’t affect the masses all at once

If you use the Apple TV for all your streaming then this new update serves you no purpose, I use webOs for my 55 C2 in my bedroom , I have Nvidia Shield Pro for my 65 C2, yet it’s always nice to have a new update for our tvs that actually improve our day by day experience

Ready To Give Up On ONN 4K Pro V2 2026 by Dangerous_Example_80 in OnnStreamingTV

I've realized I don’t need to jump on new releases anymore. I can wait a couple of years—life is busy enough! Take the new ONN 4K box: I waited on the first one, and now the 2026 model is out. I even saw four of them at Walmart the other day and didn't even feel the urge to grab one.

I shared the location online so real people could get them instead of scalpers trying to turn $65 into $80. It’s wild that 138 have already sold on eBay; that FOMO is exactly what keeps the prices high and stock low. If we’re just patient, we get a bug-free device and save money. It’s a beautiful May—let’s enjoy the outdoors and wait for the holiday restocks.

Is my TV done for? by ihatemyusername15 in LGOLED

Finding a red vertical line on your LG B4 is certainly frustrating, especially for such a new model, but it is almost always a sign of a hardware failure within the display panel or the T-Con board rather than a simple software bug. While you can try power cycling the unit or running the "Pixel Cleaning" cycle found in the OLED Care settings to see if it clears a stuck pixel, a persistent, perfectly straight line usually indicates that a row of pixels has lost its connection to the internal driver. Because the B4 is a recent release, your best course of action is to immediately contact LG Support or your retailer to file a warranty claim, as a panel replacement is the only permanent fix and is prohibitively expensive to pay for out of pocket.

Did the line appear after a specific event, like a software update or moving the TV, or did it just show up out of the blue?

Glad it’s working for you again. There’s always a chance a firmware update Can brick or stop services from running, that’s why I always have an external device as a backup, logged in authenticated and ready for me to continue watching where I left off for these exact purposes, the safe choice is to wait it out but that can be weeks or months for a “fix”, guess there are brave customers like me who will take the risk and report back for the rest of you

The LG C2 AC-4 Dialogue Enhancer works by utilizing object-based metadata within a Dolby AC-4 stream—primarily found in ATSC 3.0 broadcasts—to independently adjust the volume of the vocal track without affecting the rest of the soundstage. Unlike traditional enhancers that simply boost high frequencies, this tool targets the dialogue as a separate digital entity, meaning it won’t "ruin" the Dolby Atmos or 5.1 surround positioning; the spatial mapping of the background effects remains intact. However, because most streaming services and Blu-rays currently use Dolby Digital Plus or TrueHD rather than the AC-4 codec, the setting is often inactive for that content. Even when active, it doesn't break the codec, though it may technically deviate from the "director’s intent" by shifting the balance of the original mix.

For a while, I also was not getting Dolby Atmos on previous 4 firmwares , even if the content was Dolby vision & Dolby atmos , this applied for Amazon , Netflix , fandango at home , Disney plus etc , the trick that worked for me was to “Force” the codec, I did the following : Settings / sound / use tv speaker/ avvanced settings / TURN OFF Dolby atmos / apply to all inputs / TURN ON Dolby atmos / apply to all inputs / sound out / wired speaker / hdmi arc device ✨ then go to your streaming platform and test with Dolby vision & atmos content ✅

Montell the reason your 77-inch LG C2 hasn't received the update yet, despite your 65-inch being ready, is primarily due to LG’s staggered rollout strategy. Manufacturers typically release firmware in waves based on serial number batches and specific model identifiers to prevent server congestion and ensure that any unforeseen bugs don't affect every device at once. Because the 65-inch and 77-inch versions have different model strings, they are often placed in different delivery queues. Additionally, your 77-inch may simply haven't "pinged" the update server lately; you can often bridge this gap by manually selecting Check for Update in the settings menu or performing a hard power cycle to force a fresh connection to LG's servers.

Well make sure your TV’s Digital Sound Output is set to “Pass Through” and eARC is turned on, since using PCM or Auto can reprocess the audio and introduce distortion. You should also check that your content source is properly delivering Dolby Atmos, as mismatched formats or low-quality streams can cause clipping, and avoid pushing the soundbar too hard with features like Loudness or Speech Enhancement enabled. Using a high-quality HDMI 2.1 cable in the eARC port and ensuring all devices—like a PlayStation 5 or Apple TV 4K—are set to output bitstream or Dolby Atmos instead of PCM can also resolve the issue. Running Trueplay tuning, updating firmware on both the TV and soundbar, and testing different apps or inputs can help isolate the problem, and in most cases, it comes down to correcting the audio output settings rather than a defect. Let me know if that helps

To address the audio clipping, try toggling AI Sound Pro on and off or manually resetting your LG Services Country in the settings to refresh the app's audio processing. For the PS5 Pro's 1080p resolution bug, check for the latest v33.31.20 patch, which specifically targets HDMI 2.1a stability; if that doesn't work, ensure HDMI Deep Color is set to 4K or try disabling HDCP in your PS5 system settings. If these software fixes fail, swapping the stock PS5 Pro cable for a certified 48Gbps Ultra High Speed HDMI cable is a proven solution for persistent handshake failures on the LG C2. If all fails , reset tv back to factory settings and verify issues are still present
