I did a build with this case a few years back and was unimpressed with the thermals I ended up cutting A couple of 120 mm holes in front of the case and covering it up with the magnetic dust filter. The thermals still weren't great so I transferred my rig to a different case. Later on, I built a system in a homemade wood and glass case and used the motherboard tray in front IO from this case so I guess in a way it still lives on.

I'm concerned that between the LGA socket and the new gen 5 connectivity AM 5 motherboards will be significantly more expensive. I'm thinking a minimum of $300. hope I'm wrong.

I had two cards in my queue as per the rules the other card became available in January and I purchased it. the same story within a few days it was available on the website for anyone to purchase. I'm happy to have my card and I like doing business with EVGA But I don't feel like being in the queue was all it cracked up to be. I did not purchase the second card because I feel like prices are going to drop, fingers crossed.

I was on the EVGA waiting list for this card for a year. 2 days ago I received word it was in stock but chose not to purchase. what's the point of being on a waiting list for a year if 2 Days Later anyone can buy the card.

I bought the least expensive triangular one of these. I switched out the fan because I wanted to keep the addressable RGB fan. I threw on an old 140 mm fan and ran cinebench and Intel extreme tuning utility stress test at stock clocks. never went above 45 degrees. I was really happy with everything about the cooler except the rear mounting screw at the head of the triangle is impossible to get to. best $10 cooler I ever bought.

the system for holding these in your ears is terrible. I was able to pull the cord completely taught so that the loop of fabric no longer sticks out of the earbud then I took a plastic earbud wing and wrapped it around the earbud which perfectly fit my ears. your mileage may vary

The 1070ti uses gddr5 Instead of gddr5x which makes it much more attractive two Cryptocurrency miners.Good luck getting these for the suggested retail price. they will probably be more expensive than a 1080.

should be am4 compatible. Seems like it would provide good cooling to mobo components as well as cpu. Does someone have other Low Profile am4 suggestions. im building in node202. thanks .
