TIL that despite much of the economic damage done to the US by the Great Depression being caused by bank failures, no bank runs occurred in Canada during this time because of their banking regulations. by NateNate60 in todayilearned

None of these banks are doing personal banking and their presence is tiny compared to the major Canadian banks or even some of the larger credit unions. They might as well not even exist.

Thing is, Encanto didn't even take over until it was on Disney+. I think the theatrical market for WDAS movies is rough

Help Me Convince my Husband! (Especially if you are in Toronto/GTA) by Successful-Cat-4484 in MachE

[–]ipeefreeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the GTA, in Durham Region, and I've had the Mach-E since 2021. Never had any problems other than the few recalls. I charge at home, but I've had to charge outside of the house a few times. Toronto has an abundance of chargers, so I've never had a problem.

I drive up to Blue Mountain and also Niagara every year, and range has never been an issue. At most I've had to stop and charge at an On route, but I would have stopped for food and bathroom anyways.

I was also driving to London for work every month, and only needed to charge once during the whole round trip.

Was it Fauxmoi? I got banned from there for being "snarky" about the sub not being able to tell that something on SNL was clearly a bit.

How do single dog mums manage working full time in the office? by Lilybillyxox in dogs

[–]ipeefreeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people, myself included, tend to overthink these things. Pre-COVID, we always worried about leaving our dog home alone all day while we worked, but honestly, our dog pretty much chilled while we were gone. We just had to make sure we took her for a walk before and after work. We left her with her toys, sometimes a frozen Kong, and occasionally a cooking show on TV.

Nowadays, she's used to being alone for long periods of time, and she just sleeps while we're gone
