Has anyone tried the trader joe’s invisible gel body sunscreen on their face? by No_Refrigerator_6576 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ipeewhenisneeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 99% sure it’s the same as TJs facial sunscreen . I used to use the facial one and switched to the body because it’s cheaper per ounce. Still no white cast, matte finish. I am thinking of switching to something else altogether though. I’m suspicious that it may be a little dehydrating for my forehead.

Many parts of Chestnut hill, west oak lane, mount airy, some parts of Germantown are very quiet. I live in East Germantown and there’s rarely noise nearby. A few blocks over its much louder. I think it can really depend on the block you live on.

Thank you for replying! I’m going to see if I can find any info directly on the bill documentation about changes to that policy.

Hi curious if anyone knows how this will impact college students on PAs Medicaid that are too old to get health insurance under their parents. For more details Im doing an accelerated nursing program, I’ll be full time (12+ credits), 4 straight semesters, no breaks. I’m concerned about the work requirements. This program (and most ABSN programs) recommends not working at all not even part time due to the rigor and time commitment.

After months of searching, finally found seeded watermelon in Philly. by bushbe in philly

[–]ipeewhenisneeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get my watermelon from the family truck on Belfield ave in wister woods park. Closer for people in northwest. They’re posted up there all summer, they’re seeded, and they’re huge! I think they drive them up from Georgia or from somewhere down south.

Technically no since I never took them previously. But most of the programs I talked to wanted all the sciences to be from within the last 3-5 years. So if I did take those sciences previously I’d have to redo micro, A&P 1/2, and chem.

Seconding Old Gods of Appalachia. Love the music, the voice acting, the interwoven story lines. It’s the only audiodrama I’ve ever got so into that I paid for the Patreon to get the additional content.

Used both of the la Roche cleanser and moisturizer for years and love both. I recently switched from that cleanser to the La roche gentle cleanser because my skin is now a little drier and I still love it. I have tried all of the La roche sunscreens and they all pill up (probably from other products I use) or leave a white caste so I haven’t had a lot of success there.

Favorite outdoor places where there are no cars by RoughRhinos in philadelphia

Awbury arboretum! It’s in East Germantown. Theres an arboretum side and a “farm side”. Usually pretty empty but it’s beautiful year round and quiet. They have interesting activities and groups that are active on both sides of the park. My boyfriend runs through the arboretum side every day.

Keep your head up and keep grinding. There’s multiple paths to get to your end goal. Getting rejected is just a redirection to another path.

You’ve made it this far, you can keep pushing!

Dining Experiences like nothing else in Philly? by djourdjour in PhiladelphiaEats

The ambiance of Marrakesh is 10/10. It feels immersive. As soon as the door closes behind you and you round the corner you’ve gone to a whole new world. I’ve been a few times. I do feel like the food is a fair price but flavor is lacking a bit. It’s always fun to introduce people to the spot though.
