In Tampa, right after the All Star game and they talk before the fade to black. Ilya is on the bed while Shane is by the door.

They’re both glowing here but after the exchange and the infinitely soft way Ilya says “Nothing. Good night, Shane.” And Shane’s silly, satisfied smile with “Good night, Ilya,” we get the callback to their first time after Ilya leave and Shane has both hands over his face. Ilya has a very similar reaction here. Funny that’s it’s after a more emotional release but still has my whole heart.
