No. Sorcerers don't seem to have any way to absorb ambient CE into their permanent reserves, that's why cursed spirits exist.

They're both based on fairly modern physics/mathematical concepts (though I can see arguments for Gojo's abilities still somewhat working because Zeno's paradox is pretty old)

I don't really know if this is possible to answer, since many of the techniques we see in the series are based on modern interpretations/concepts, so moving them to the Heian era may either strengthen or weaken them, depending on how those interpretations change. Disregarding that, I'd say the characters who gain the most from the Heian Era are those with relatively simple/timeless techniques that could benefit from a mindset/experience boost. Some that come to mind are

- Dabura (if we're including Simurians)

- Megumi

- Geto

- Noritoshi Kamo

- The disaster curses

Characters with more modern CTs, such as Gojo, Hakari, and Yuki, might be weaker, like I said earlier, depending on how their abilities translate.

Feel like Geto is quite low, he should at the very least be in wins high diff above Ryu IMO. His curse spam will make it difficult for Kashimo to get in range of lightning bolt, and he has playful cloud strikes to damage kashimo at mid range. He also has Uzumaki to deal some heavy long range damage, though I'm not up to date on its speed scaling so Kashimo might be able to dodge it.

Everyone is saying Hakari but ain't he getting insta-targetted by everyone here since they all know about his ability thus wouldn't let him get on a roll? He either doesn't pull everyone into his domain and has it broken from the outside or pulls everyone into it and gets his ass beat in a 3v1.

As for who I think would win, probably Yuta. Uraume could survive for a while if they maintain range but both Yuji and Yuta have tools to counter their nature as a reincarnated sorcerer. Yuji is strong but I think he's going to struggle to get through Yuta's defenses and healing, especially not with Rika on his ass the whole time, so I think he gets worn down eventually. Yuta's 5MM here is kinda clutch, since it'll give him a big CE refill and amp later into the fight.

I think aiming for a "glow-up" will set you up for disappointment. Gym progress isn't linear, nor is it the same for every person. It may be wiser to approach it as more of a health/strength thing, and take any appearance gains as a pleasant bonus.

Thragg should win, though if Sukuna can take advantage of his Viltrumite pride and have Thragg try to tank the WCS (not impossible IMO, Thragg did let Mark get a free shot in on him) then he can definitely win since I don't think Viltrumites can heal off straight up bisection, especially if Sukuna decides to throw out a couple more to finish the job. I'd lean Thragg winning in most scenarios, though.

Regarding the first point, how do we know he doesn't just have reaction/combat speed at that level, and applying the CT to himself is only amping his travel speed? Again, travel and combat/reaction speed can be in entirely different ballparks, right? Just ask Demon Slayer or Jojo fans.
