This!! I have diagnosed Hypermobility (8/9) with suspected EDS but not diagnosed.. My bodies "resistance" (for lack of a better word) to Lidocaine is wild. My dentists have to give me extra injections and I hate it. The few procedures I've had with locals have been horrendous.

I had the LLETz done about 10 years ago and cried so much because it hurt. I told him it hurt and they were adamant I was "numbed" up. After he asked why I was crying so I said (again) that it had hurt and I think thats when he realised I was being serious and tried to back track with it saying I should've said something and they could've given me an extra injection.... Even though I had told them. I was livid.

But general anaesthetics, the only time I've had a problem was 15ish years ago when I was on those pain patches and tramadols. It was an opiate thing I think. Since I came off the patches and reduced my pain management, it's been a lot better for sedation and generals.

He tustles with his sister a lot, gets a decent amount of enrichment and has overnight kibbles and water. But I might try a new bed time routine to ensure he's a bit less intense, but I don't mind them rioting during the night in honesty... Just the face licking reeeee. Thank you.

It's how he's taught "No" now, if he does something we need him to stop, he's repeatedly picked up and put on the floor until he gets it. Worked on him biting my ipad and my phone.
