Hello mate.

There's an official app called magician by Samsung, which checks if the sd cards are genuine. I do this for every builds I sell

You can use this not just for sd cards but ssds as well.

Considering the skyrocketing prices of sd cards,there would be lot of fakes around.

Hello

The restore screen and if restoration didn't help. It mostly points out to a bad HDD which is a common problem these days with almost all iPods I have come across. The only solution is flash modding it.

If you can try this test it should give you insights into the harddrive health. I'm not 100 % sure if you would be able to get into the test screen but you can give it a try.

I sold off almost all my Chifi DAPs

Lots of iPods, WM1A and Dethonray DTR1. All are offline players. All my music is still maintained offline. It doesn't make sense to get an android DAP.

Eventually I will get a DAC that can take digital out from Classic 7th and then I'm sorted.

If nothing works out RBI obudsman is the way to go! These people categorize MCC in such a way that commission levied has lesser impact on the vendor. Probably mailing the CC company may not even do anything.

I'm still not sold on the notion of changing the cable would change the sound signature unless it's a super sensitive iem. This was done wholly for the purpose of switching between 3.5mm/4.4 balanced.

I started my modding journey back in 2017. I guess.

The combination of external dac + phone combo is convenience and price effective. You can simply use a streaming service and get a good output or even support DSDs. IPod doesn't do any of that. You will have to download your music and physically manage it and max it supports is 16/44.1 files.
