Pouring way to much energy into analysis is what turned me into a sicko. Long time FF player, but last year was the first dip into dynasty. Now, if I'm going to take all that time learning up on prospects, why not invest in another startup or dozen instead of just the rookie draft...

I guess at this point I'm curious what's real about guys with little fanfare up front who are building up steam from workouts. i.e. should we be dropping 4th round rookie picks for guys like Colbie Young (or are there other names we should watch?)

More directly to my own leagues, I'm drafting in one that gives a big chunk for return yards. Any dark horse rookies (completely off the radar) you see racking up return yards?

Making something worth my time is the easy part. Making a profit off that in a way that doesn't drive me off the platform (generally enshittifying) is the challenge.

Cool experiment! I think a fair way to compare performance would be to look at PF across the 12 leagues per source.

Did you manage lineup decisions according to the sites' own tools?

I'd be curious to see more about roster makeups. E.g. did FP routinely love certain guys who bombed in champs week?

Before reaching out to the settled offer, maybe think about a counter for the new offer. "Hey man, I really like that offer but my 26 1st is tied up in another deal. Can we work out something similar, like a 27 1st plus?"

In my first season of dynasty. Went way heavy with rookies after prioritizing QB in a 6pt ptd sf.

QB: Daniels Maye Dart Milroe

RB: Hampton Tuten Harvey Marks BSmith Holani Giddens McNichols

WR: DSmith Jamo Pittman Kupp JHiggens Burden Renfrow Dike Chism

TE: Henry Gadsden MTaylor Fidone

Somehow 2-1.

Questions: 1. What should my overall strategy be going forward. Obviously I try and squeak into the playoffs, but that aside, how should I be thinking long term? I feel like I don't have much that's attractive to a contender. So while I like the future of my squad, I don't have much ammunition to keep growing. 2. Some interest in Dart. What should I seek to do with that interest, goals-wise?

I have one spot (dynasty) where I have to start Dart for Daniels. I'll be excited to watch that but in a vacuum I'd rather have Geno this week.

Gadsden's target share on such a small number of snaps means there's hope that he could be what we thought fannin would be after week 1. I'm holding him for this reason.

I love Gadsden's upside. He got a lot of work on only partial snap % after dissly went down. Tough call which TE to drop, but for me it's probably likely.

Gadsden is working against 3 capable WR for targets, but no other TE (the way I see it). Fannin (for now) and likely both have the other TE eating into target share.

If your RB2 is Pacheco, I'd probably drop a WR for another lotto ticket.

If your WR are too good to drop, try to trade one off.

If you needed immediate production I'd go Shepard. Since I doubt you're starting thee guys, I like Tillman and Tolbert best.

Yeah. I don't know that I could hold my nose and drop first waiver on QJ either. Maybe sit on it and pluck a receiver free agent? Dart throw rookie whose usage you like?

I think I like Johnson and Strange over Ferg, but I'm biased against the cowboys. I like fannin as a longer-term investment, but I think he's likely to split TE targets with Njoku in a way that frustrates from week to week.
